This beautiful marinade adds an exquisite flavor to these already tender steaks. The final result will be so tender and juicy, it will melt in your mouth.

½ cup balsamic vinegar
¼ cup soy sauce
3 tablespoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon liquid smoke flavoring
1 pinch cayenne pepper
2 (1/2 pound) rib-eye steaks

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, mix the vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, honey, olive oil, ground black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, salt, liquid smoke, and cayenne pepper.
  • Place steaks in a shallow glass dish with the marinade, and turn to coat. For optimum flavor, rub the liquid into the meat. Cover, and marinate in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 days.
  • Preheat grill for medium-high to high heat.
  • Lightly oil the grill grate. Grill steaks 7 minutes per side, or to desired doneness. Discard leftover marinade.

Honey Garlic Steak Bites image

Tender, delicious, and juicy bites of sirloin steak cooked in a flavorful honey garlic sauce.

1 pound top sirloin steak, (cubed)
1 teaspoon sweet or smoked paprika
salt and fresh ground pepper, (to taste)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil, (divided)
3 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup water, ((or broth))
4 cloves garlic, (minced)
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon sesame seed oil, ((you can also use extra virgin olive oil))
1 tablespoon rice vinegar, ((you can also use white vinegar))
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon cornstarch
sesame seeds, (for garnish)
sliced green onions, (for garnish)

Steps:

  • Cut up steak into 1/2-inch to 1-inch cubes.
  • Season with paprika, salt, and pepper; set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl combine soy sauce, water, garlic, honey, sesame seed oil, rice vinegar, oregano, and cornstarch; whisk until thoroughly combined. Set aside.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  • Add 1/2 of the steak cubes to the hot oil and cook for 2 minutes per side, or until browned and done. Remove from skillet and repeat with the rest of the steak cubes, adding extra oil as needed.
  • Remove all steak bites from the skillet and set aside.
  • Give the previously prepared honey garlic sauce a good stir with a whisk and pour 1/3 of the sauce into the hot skillet; scrape up the browned pieces from the bottom of the pan.
  • Add the steak bites back to the skillet and pour the rest of the sauce over the steak; cook for 1 to 2 more minutes, or until sauce starts to thicken.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Transfer steak bites to a plate and drizzle with the pan sauce.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
  • Serve.

These steak bites are very easy to prepare with just 5 ingredients but are packed with so much flavor. Make this if you want a quick and simple dinner.

1½ lbs fat trimmed, diced into cubes just under 1-inch sirloin steak
⅓ cup low-sodium soy sauce
3 tbsp honey
3 minced garlic cloves
2 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil
or sesame seeds for garnish, optional Green Onions

Steps:

  • Place steak pieces in a gallon size resealable bag.
  • In a mixing bowl whisk together soy sauce, honey and garlic. Pour over steak, seal bag while pressing out excess air then rub marinade over steak.
  • Transfer to refrigerator and let marinate for 1 to 2 hours.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a heavy non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Remove half the steak from marinade, transfer to skillet (spaced apart) and let sear for about 1 minute until golden brown, then flip to opposite side.
  • Continue to cook for about 1 minute more to desired doneness (internal safe temperature is 145 degrees). Transfer to a plate and repeat with the remaining steak.
  • Serve warm garnished with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.

Cooking spray
1 red onion, sliced into 1/4-inch thick rounds
Cooked flank steak slices, about 12 ounces
4 to 6 slices Swiss cheese
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon garlic flakes
Salt
Freshly ground black pepper
4 long rolls

Steps:

  • Heat a stove-top griddle with cooking spray and set over medium-high heat to preheat. Place red onion slices on hot pan and sear 2 minutes per side, flipping with a spatula, until golden brown and slightly softened.
  • Arrange steak slices alongside onion. Cook 2 to 3 minutes, until hot. Place cheese on top of steak and cook 1 minute, until cheese melts.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, honey and garlic flakes. Season, to taste, with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Spread mayonnaise mixture on rolls and top with seared onion slices and cheese-smothered steak.

1 beef flat iron steak or boneless top sirloin steak (3/4 pound)
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper

Steps:

  • Mix 1 tablespoon butter with parsley, garlic and soy sauce., Sprinkle steak with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat remaining butter over medium heat. Add steak; cook until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 135°; medium, 140°; medium-well, 145°), 4-7 minutes per side. Serve with garlic butter.

  • Score steak by making crisscross cuts on the surface on both sides of the meat.
  • Mix ingredients for marinade and pour over steak.
  • Marinate for at least 45 minutes or overnight.
