How to make easy air fryer biscuit donuts. This has cinnamon sugar, glazed, and chocolate icing directions.

1 Cup Sugar
1 Tbs Cinnamon
Cooking Spray
1 Can of Biscuits
1/2 Stick Melted Butter
6 tablespoons butter, melted
2 cups powdered sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 tablespoons hot water
1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon light corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees. Meanwhile, lay out the biscuits and cut a hole in the center. You can use a shot glass or a cookie cutter.
  • Spray the biscuits lightly with cooking spray. Place the biscuits in the air fryer and bake for 4-6 minutes or until browned.
  • Remove from air fryer and place the air fried donut on a cooling rack.
  • In a small bowl, combine the cinnamon and sugar. Dip the air fryer donuts from biscuits into the melted butter and then into the cinnamon sugar mixture.

My sons and I love doughnuts, but in the Florida heat I rarely want to deep-fry them. I tried making this easy air-fryer doughnut recipe, and it turned out so well with no mess! -Christine Hair, Odessa, Florida

Yield 8 doughnuts + 8 doughnut holes.

Number Of Ingredients 5

1 tube (16.3 ounces) large refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (8 count)
3/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Preheat air fryer to 375°. Separate biscuits. Cut out centers using a 1-inch cutter; save centers. In batches, place doughnuts in a single layer in greased air fryer. Cook until golden brown and puffed, turning once, about 5 minutes. In batches, cook doughnut holes until golden brown, 3-4 minutes., Meanwhile, in a shallow dish, combine sugar and cinnamon. In a separate bowl, mix melted butter and vanilla. Brush doughnuts and doughnut holes with butter; toss in sugar mixture. Serve warm.
