SCREWDRIVER COCKTAIL

Steps:

• Combine vodka and orange juice in a highball glass and stir to combine. Add ice.

HOW TO MAKE VODKA INFUSED ORANGES

Steps:

• Place the oranges on a cutting board and cut the top and the bottom off the oranges using a chef's knife.
• Cut the peel, including the white pith, from the outside of the oranges.
• Slice out the freshly wedges of the oranges, one segment at a time.
• Discard the membranes and peels.
• Place the orange flesh in a small, sterile jar.

ORANGE LIQUEUR

Steps:

• Wash the oranges well with soap and water.
• Pare very thinly the bright-colored rind from the oranges (no white).
• Blot the peel on paper towels to remove any excess oil.
• Put the peel in a 4 cup screw-top jar.
• Add 2 cups vodka.

• Close the jar and store in a cool dark place at least 1 month to age.

Steps:

• Peel the orange rind into thin, almost transparent, strips.
• Combine with vodka and sugar.
• Let stand for 4 days.
• Strain and serve ice cold.

VODKA BLOOD ORANGE COCKTAIL

Steps:

• Fill a rocks glass with ice.
• Add the vodka, blood orange juice and San Pellegrino Aranciata Rossa. Top with soda water.
• Garnish with blood orange slice and fresh mint sprig.

CRANBERRY-ORANGE VODKA

Steps:

• Place cranberries, sugar and vanilla in a medium saucepan. Place pan over medium heat and stir. Simmer cranberry mixture until the berries burst, about 5 to 6 minutes.
• Place orange peels in a large glass container with an airtight lid, or large mason jars with lids. Pour vodka over the orange peels.
• Allow the cranberry mixture to cool. Pour the cooled mixture into the glass container(s). Cover tightly and set aside for 1 week. After 1 week, strain out the cranberries sand orange peels and pour mixture into a clean bottle, using a funnel. Store vodka in the refrigerator.
• To serve: Pour 2 ounces of vodka mixture over ice in a tall glass and top with tonic water. Garnish with a slice of lime.

Steps:

• In a small saucepan, heat cranberries, sugar, and water until the sugar dissolves, the liquid begins to turn a light-pink color, and the cranberries just begin to pop. Pour the cranberries and the liquid into a large glass jar; stir in peel and vodka. Cover, and let stand at room temperature at least 3 days or up to one month. Strain before serving.
