IMITATION CRAB CASSEROLE
I got this recipe from our church cookbook. It is very satisfying. The water chestnuts give it a nice crunch & it has a good flavor.

Steps:
- Mix all ingredients, except bread crumbs, together and put into a casserole.
- (This is a big recipe--you may need to use 2.) Top with buttered bread crumbs.
- Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
IMITATION CRAB MEAT CASSEROLE
I don' know about you, but, I like imitation crab meat for casseroles once in awhile! This one is good, I have had this recipe for a long time.

Steps:
- 1. Place fish in 8 inch square pan. Melt butter, add sour cream and stir well. Add seasonings and stir again. **add the measured amount you like for seasonings. Add mushrooms - if using fresh mushrooms, you can sautee in a little butter for only a minute or two just until they are soft. Add to sour cream mixture.
- 2. Pour over fish. Roll the crackers to make fine crumbs and place over fish and the sour cream and mushroom mixture.
- 3. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

- In a bowl, combine crab, 3/4 cup of bread crumbs, milk, onions, eggs, salt, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and pepper. Add 4 tablespoons of butter; mix well. Spoon into a greased 1-qt. baking dish. , Combine remaining bread crumbs and butter; sprinkle over casserole. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake, uncovered, at 425° for 16-18 minutes or until golden brown and edges are bubbly.

IMITATION CRAB CASSEROLE
This is a terrific, tasty casserole for family brunches or for you! We had this for several Easter brunches when I was a kid and I loved it! When I started cooking I asked my mom for the recipe and as an adult it tastes just as good to me now as it did then! My fiance is not fond of pasta, but likes this!

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil. Stir in pasta and return to a boil. Cook pasta uncovered, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, 9 to 11 minutes. Drain.
- Combine cream of onion soup, Cheddar cheese, milk, and mayonnaise in a large bowl.
- Heat 1/4 cup butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add broccoli; cook and stir until just tender, 5 to 7 minutes.
- Transfer broccoli to onion soup mixture; stir in pasta, imitation crabmeat, and tomatoes. Spread mixture into prepared baking dish. Mix bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and remaining butter together in a small bowl; sprinkle over crabmeat mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven until brown and bubbly, 35 to 45 minutes.

- In a bowl, shred the crab meat into smaller chunks.
- Add the cream cheese, sour cream and shredded swiss cheese to the bowl, and combine.
- Add in the onion and spices, and combine until fully mixed.
- Spread mixture into a casserole dish and then top with the cheddar cheese.
- Bake at 350 for 30 mins.
- Enjoy warm!

- 1. Preheat oven to 350^. Cook rice according to package directions. Butter or spray a large casserole- I use 8 cup size. Use whatever your mixture fits in. The larger the better. ---
- 2. Flake the crab meat or chop it into small pieces.Set aside. Place in a large bowl the soups,peppers, celery seed,onions,garlic, and parsley- mix to blend.
- 3. Stir in milk and melted butter, add cooked rice and stewed tomatoes. Fold in crab. Scoop whole mixture into prepared casserole and cover. Bake for 45 minutes,then uncover and sprinkle cheeses on top and bake uncovered for 15 minutes or until cheese begins to brown and casserole is bubbly. Great served with garlic toast.
