2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 tablespoons melted butter
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon curry powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon paprika

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a shallow baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Layer shrimp in the bottom of the prepared pan.
  • Mix butter, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, honey, curry powder, salt, and paprika together in a bowl. Pour over shrimp.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until shrimp are no longer transparent, stirring twice, about 20 minutes.

1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 pound uncooked shrimp (31-40 per pound), peeled and deveined
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon curry powder
1/3 cup fat-free plain Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon water
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Hot cooked rice, optional

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion; cook and stir 1-2 minutes or until tender. Add shrimp; cook and stir 2 minutes. Add garlic and curry powder; cook and stir 30-60 seconds longer or until shrimp turn pink., Remove from heat. Stir in remaining ingredients. If desired, serve with rice.

1-1/2 teaspoons curry powder
2 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
1 cup fat-free milk
1 pound uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
3/4 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
2 cups hot cooked rice

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, saute onion and curry in butter until tender. Stir in flour until blended; gradually add broth and milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened., Reduce heat; add the shrimp, sugar, salt and ginger. Cook and stir over medium heat until shrimp turn pink. 1/2 yellow onion (finely chopped)
1 teaspoon ground ginger

1 15 ounce can tomato sauce

Steps:

  • Add 2 teaspoons of the canola oil on high heat in a large skillet.
  • Add the shrimp and cook for 1 minute on each side then remove the shrimp from the pan.
  • Add the remaining teaspoon of the canola oil to the skillet with the onions.
  • Cook the onions for 5 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  • Add in the ginger, cumin, coriander, turmeric, paprika, curry powder, chili powder, salt and garlic.
  • Stir well, letting cook for 30 seconds then add in the tomato sauce and combine.
  • Add in the coconut milk and shrimp to the pan and stir well.
  • Garnish with cilantro and chili peppers if desired.

1 lb peeled, deveined shrimp
½ finely chopped yellow onion
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground cumin

2 minced garlic cloves
15 oz tomato sauce
¾ cup canned lite coconut milk

Steps:

2 tablespoons The Spice Hunter India Gourmet Turmeric
1 tablespoon The Spice Hunter Garam Masala Blend
2 teaspoon The Spice Hunter Ground Cumin
1 teaspoon The Spice Hunter Ground Coriander
¼ teaspoon The Spice Hunter Cayenne Red Pepper
3 pounds beef chuck roast, trimmed of fat and cut into 2-inch cubes (Mine was 3.5 lbs and after fat was trimmed it was 2.14 lbs)
1 teaspoon salt (plus an extra 1/2 teaspoon)
1 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
4 large garlic cloves, minced
½- inch piece of fresh ginger, grated
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
4 tablespoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon brown sugar
3 cups beef stock
3 large carrots, chopped
1½ pounds potatoes
¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

Steps:

  • Combine all Indian Curry Spices in a small mixing bowl and set aside.
  • Cut chuck roast into 2-inch square pieces. Season with salt and pepper, and brown them in a Dutch oven with 2 tablespoons of olive oil (sear on two sides for 3-4 minutes). Transfer the meat to a plate and set aside.
  • Add the onion, garlic and ginger to the pan and saute for about 4 minutes (add a bit more olive oil if needed). Stir in all of the Indian Curry spices, and allow to cook for one more minute.
  • Add 1/2 teaspoon salt, lemon juice, tomato paste, brown sugar, beef stock, carrots, and potatoes. Return the meat to the Dutch oven and bring to a simmer.
  • Put the lid on the pot cracked and simmer on low for 1 hour.
  • Garnish with cilantro and serve!

40 nos Shrimps (medium sized, cooked, Chemmeen)
15 nos Pearl onions (don`t chop, Kunjulli)
1 no Onion (chopped, big)
8 nos Green chillies (split half)
2 stems Curry leaves
1 tsp Mustard seeds
4 tbsp Olive oil
1 can Coconut milk
1 no Tomato (sliced, big)
1 tbsp Vinegar
Ginger (garlic paste - 2 tsp)
1 tsp Chilly powder
1/2 tsp Black pepper
2 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
Salt (As reqd)

Steps:

  • Marinate shrimps with vinegar, ginger-garlic paste, chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, black pepper and salt for at least 1/2 hour.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add marinated shrimps into it.
  • Saute for 5 mins on a medium-high flame. Stir it occasionally.
  • Add whole pearl onions, chopped onions, green chillies and curry leaves and saute on a medium flame for 15 mins.
  • Let the juice in shrimp and the onions mix with each other.
  • Once the onions are transparent, add coconut milk.
  • Boil it for 5 mins.
  • Add sliced tomato to the boiling curry and close with a lid.
  • Turn off the flame and let it stay undisturbed for at least 15 mins.
  • Add required salt.
  • :- Serve with Appam, Chappathis and Rice.
  • :- If the shrimp is uncooked, just marinate them and stir fry in the oil for 15 mins on medium flame and proceed to the remaining steps.
