Lettuce Smoothie image

Add romaine lettuce to your next smoothie for a nutrient boost. It has a mild flavor and is so hydrating.

Number Of Ingredients 6

2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
1 frozen banana
½ cup diced apple
1 and ½ cups almond milk
1 Tbsp. chia seeds
1 Tbsp. honey, if desired

Steps:

  • Add all of the ingredients into a blender. If you'd like a sweeter smoothie, add the honey, but if not, simply omit.
  • Process until smooth.
  • Pour into glasses & enjoy.

The 3-Ingredient Lettuce Smoothie is one of the easiest and most refreshing green smoothies ever. It's a super convenient way to detox, recharge, and nourish.

2.5 cups romaine lettuce (including heart, chopped (about 100 grams / 3.4 ounces or 1/4 head))
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon olive oil
2 cups water
Maple syrup or other sweetener (to taste)

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend on high speed until smooth, about 1 minute. Serve or store immediately.

  • Turn up to high speed and blend until smooth.
