  • Eggnog. This is the classic holiday cocktail and you can make it right in your home. Eggnog is simple to make and only needs a few ingredients. You’ll need some cream, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and of course some spices to flavor it up.
  • Whiskey Sour. A whiskey sour is a great cocktail to start with if you’re learning how to make your own cocktails. The whiskey sour starts out as a simple drink that has only a handful of ingredients and it’s customizable for each person because everybody should like something different in their drink.
  • Whiskey Smash. Maybe you love whiskey but aren’t feeling the heaviness of an old-fashioned or Manhattan. If that’s the case, this whiskey smash is going to be your next favorite cocktail.
  • Classic Margarita. You can’t go wrong with a classic margarita and it’s a fun drink to start putting your own spin on. You can use just about any tequila but the more premium quality you get the better it will taste in the cocktail.
  • Jungle Bird. Looking for fun cocktails you can make at home? Look no further than this Jungle Bird recipe. This drink has a really unique flavor because it mixes tropical ingredients and flavors with a bitter.
  • Tom Collins Cocktail. You might not have heard of the Tom Collins as much as other drinks because it’s a bit older of a drink. It’s made with gin and lemon juice so it’s similar in taste to the vodka sour but the gin makes it a bit more complex.
  • Sazerac Cocktail. The Sazerac was created in New Orleans in the 1800s. It’s a whiskey based drink that has some anise and absinthe flavors, but it’s balanced out with lemon juice and simple syrup.
  • Classic Mojito. On a hot day, there are few drinks more refreshing than a mojito. It’s light and the fresh mint leaves act as a palate cleanser so you’ll feel like you just ate some gum after drinking it.
  • Southside Cocktail. The southside is a gin cocktail that is a lot friendlier than a martini. It’s also easy to make since you don’t need some complicated ingredients.
  • Purple Basil Gin Fizz Cocktail. A gin fizz is made by mixing a spirit with lemon juice, sugar, and a number of other additions. This cocktail is great for people who like cocktails with an extra tart flavor to them.

23 CLASSIC CHAMPAGNE COCKTAILS - INSANELY GOOD

  • Classic Champagne Cocktail. If you’re looking for the sweet, bubbly, gorgeously golden champagne cocktail that fits in at any celebration, the classic champagne cocktail is the one you want.
  • French 75 Cocktail. This sparkly, citrusy treat is just as light and bubbly as any cocktail on this list, but it’s deceptively strong. (Thank you, one and a half ounces of gin!)
  • Empress 75. This stunning pink and purple cocktail looks like a colorful sunset over the sea, and I am absolutely in love with it. If somehow its remarkable appearance isn’t enough to make you love it, maybe the strong, sweet, citrus taste will be.
  • Apple Cider Mimosa. Apple cider mimosas. Let me say that one more time for those of you in the back. Apple. Cider. Mimosas. I don’t know who invented them, but that person deserves all the awards and medals.
  • Orange Mimosa. I can’t forget the traditional mimosas, of course. Their bright orange color and tart and tangy orange juice flavor make them the perfect additions to any breakfast or brunch.
  • Orange Creamsicle Mimosa. The orange creamsicle mimosa is a lot like the regular orange mimosa. However, it’s creamier, sweeter, and tastes like those amazing orange push-up popsicles we loved when we were kids.
  • Mimosa Margarita. Mimosa margaritas aren’t quite at the OMG level of apple cider mimosas, but they’re still pretty fantastic. These hybrid drinks are for those of us who like to turn brunch into a little more of a party.
  • Tiffany Mimosa. If you love the insanely, almost ultraviolet blue hue you get from blue curacao, this is the cocktail for you. (Plus, it’s tartly sweet and looks like a million bucks!)
  • Strawberry Champagne. This drink is for anyone who likes a little chunkiness in their cocktails. The pureed strawberries certainly add that. Plus, between them and the champagne, you’ll have one seriously sweet and fruity drink.
  • Peach Bellini. There’s nothing quite like the frothy, tongue-tingling top of a peach bellini. It’s a thick, fruity cocktail with plenty of peach and raspberry flavor.

15 BEST CHAMPAGNE COCKTAIL RECIPES TO ELEVATE THE EVERYDAY

From food52.com
  • Champagne Cocktail. Dropping a sugar cube in a glass of Champagne is pure fun, because it riles up the crowd of bubbles. This cocktail calls for a little bit of that flourish, plus a couple of dashes of Angostura bitters and a lemon twist for garnish.
  • The Fall 75 - Fall Champagne Cocktail. This autumnal twist on the aforementioned French 75 recipe swaps blood orange juice in place of the usual lemon juice.
  • Cockney Champagne Cocktail. “Same but different,” my Aunt Diane likes to say in a deep Southern drawl about two things that are quite similar, but also quite different.
  • The Final Countdown. This gin-based Prohibition-era cocktail got a bubbly upgrade. Shake up a combination of dry gin, Green Chartreuse, Luxardo Maraschino liqueur, and lime juice; pour into a coupe glass and top off with Champagne.
  • Strawberry Juice & a Champagne Cocktail. Strawberries and Champagne are kind of a classic combination, are they not? Serve this simple stunner for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, or all summer long when berries are at their brightest.
  • Mother's Ruin Punch. Leave it to a speakeasy-style cocktail bar in the heart of Manhattan to develop a punch recipe with 10 ingredients, a couple of which might be a little tough to find (like tea-infused sweet vermouth).
  • Crimson Bulleit Punch. “This elixir has everything I look for in a holiday punch, a delicious ruby red color, the effervescence of Champagne, a hint of ginger spice, and enough sweetness (but not too much) to coax this rather potent punch down with ease,” writes recipe developer Oui, Chef.
  • Kiss the Ring, a Riff on the French 75. Top off this gin and Cointreau cocktail with a splash of brut Champagne or prosecco. If you can get your hands on them, it’s best with fresh-squeezed blood orange juice.
  • Not-Your-Typical Rum & Cola. Rum and Coke lovers may scoff at this Champagne cocktail…until they taste it. With amaro, dark rum, Angostura bitters, cola, and Champagne, there’s a lot going on but somehow it all just works together like absolute magic.
  • Pom Fizz. “Homemade, one-ingredient pomegranate syrup is your bar's new best friend. Here, it's paired with sparkling white wine and pomegranate seeds for a simple-but-stunning cocktail,” writes recipe developer Joanna Sciarrino.
