Put your taco on your tots! These loaded Taco Tater Tots are so easy and soooo good!

2 pound package of frozen tater tots (I used Ore Ida)
1 pound lean ground beef
1 1.5 ounce taco seasoning packet (I used McCormick)
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
8 ounces sour cream
4 ounces sliced black olives
1 pint grape tomatoes (cut in half)
3 scallions (green and white parts sliced)

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Spread the tots on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake until crispy, approximately 20-25 minutes.
  • While the tots are baking, brown the beef in a large skillet over med-high heat until no longer pink. Stir in the seasoning mix and 3/4 cup of water. Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • When the tots are done baking, turn the broiler on low and transfer them to a 9x13 inch baking dish Top with the seasoned beef mixture and sprinkle the cheese evenly over the beef. Transfer the baking dish to the oven and broil until the cheese is melted. Remove from the oven and top with the sour cream, olives, tomatoes and scallions.
  • Serve immediately.

1 pkg. (1 oz.) TACO BELL® Taco Seasoning Mix
3/4 cup water
1 cup frozen corn
1 cup TACO BELL® Thick & Chunky Salsa
1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
4 cups (1/2 of 32-oz. pkg.) ORE-IDA TATER TOTS
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375ºF.
  • Brown meat with onions and peppers in large skillet; drain. Add seasoning mix and water; cook as directed on seasoning package. Stir in corn; spoon into 13x9-inch baking dish.
  • Mix salsa and tomato pasta; spread over meat mixture. Arrange TATER TOTS in single layer over salsa mixture.
  • Bake 40 to 45 min. or until potatoes are lightly browned and mixture is bubbly, sprinkling with cheese for last 5 min.

1 (32 ounce) package frozen bite-size potato nuggets (such as Tater Tots®)
4 slices bacon
2 tablespoons butter
1 shallot, minced
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 ½ cups whole milk
2 tablespoons sour cream
1 pinch ground black pepper
1 pinch nutmeg
1 ½ cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese, divided
3 green onions, sliced
2 tablespoons sour cream, or to taste

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Arrange potato nuggets in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until lightly golden, 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Place bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain bacon slices on paper towels and chop coarsely.
  • Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat; add shallot and cook until fragrant. Stir in flour and cook until light golden, about 2 minutes. Whisk in milk and 2 tablespoons sour cream; stir until smooth and thick, about 5 minutes. Season with black pepper and nutmeg. Stir in 1 cup Cheddar cheese until fully melted.
  • Transfer potatoes to a 9x13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle bacon on top. Pour cheese sauce over the potatoes. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese on top.

1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion; cook and stir until tender, 2-3 minutes. 1 can (14.5 oz.) stewed tomatoes, undrained
1 can (15.5 oz.) pinto beans, drained
1 pkg. (1 oz.) TACO BELL® Taco Seasoning Mix
1/4 cup water
1 container (2.8 oz.) french-fried onions
1-1/2 cups KRAFT Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese, divided

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350ºF.
  • Spread TATER TOTS onto bottom of 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray. Bake 15 min.
  • Meanwhile, brown meat in large skillet on medium heat; drain. Return meat to skillet. Stir in tomato paste. Add tomatoes, beans, seasoning mix and water; mix well. Bring to boil, stirring frequently. Simmer on medium-low heat 10 min., stirring occasionally. Stir in onions.
