These marinated cucumbers are made with just 4 ingredients - cucumbers, dill, garlic & salt. After just 2 hours, they taste better than any jarred variety!

2 lb cucumbers
1 tbsp salt
2 tbsp dill (diced)
4 garlic cloves (pressed)

Steps:

  • Wash and split the cucumber into 2-4 long spears. To the cucumbers add the salt, dill and garlic. Mix all the ingredients together.
  • Let the cucumbers marinate for at least 2 hours and keep them in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Enjoy!

Steps:

  • Whisk vinegar, sugar, salt, and celery seed together in a large bowl; stir in cucumbers and onion. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Serve cold.

6 medium cucumbers, thinly sliced
1 medium onion, sliced
1 cup white vinegar
1/4 to 1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
1/2 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the cucumbers and onion. In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine the remaining ingredients; cover and shake well. Pour over cucumber mixture; toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Serve with a slotted spoon.

This is an easy and delicious version from Domino sugar, made a bit out-of-the-ordinary by the addition of brown sugar. Time does not include chilling and marinating time.

2 medium cucumbers, peeled and sliced
1/4 cup domino brownulated brown sugar (see note below for substitution information)
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon celery seed
1 dash pepper (generous)

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients and refrigerate at least a few hours, until ready to serve.
  • Stir occasionally to make sure all the cucumbers are marinating evenly.
  • NOTE: Brownulated Brown Sugar is a granulated brown sugar made by Domino Sugar.
  • For the 1/4 cup required, you can substitute a mixture of 3 1/2 tablespoons of light brown sugar mixed with 1/2 tablespoon of granulated white sugar.
