CLASSIC PORK STEW
Delicious recipe and instructions for how to make pork stew in a dutch oven with pork tenderloin, potatoes, carrots, onions, mushrooms, celery and more.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Heat oil in a dutch oven over medium high heat. Brown the pork in the dutch oven, turning and stir so that they brown on all sides.
- Stir in the onions and minced garlic and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Add the potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, celery, diced tomatoes, salt, pepper, bay leaves, ginger ale and broth. Stir to mix everything.
- Cover dutch oven with lid and place in the oven to bake for 3 hours.
- Take dutch oven out of the oven. In a separate bowl whisk together the corn starch and water to make a slurry. Stir the slurry in the stew to thicken.
- Serve.

HEARTY BAKED BEEF STEW
This is such an easy way to make a wonderful beef stew. You don't need to brown the meat first-just combine it with hearty chunks of carrots, potatoes and celery, and let it all cook together in a flavorful gravy. - In a large bowl, combine the tomatoes, water, tapioca, sugar, salt and pepper. Stir in the remaining ingredients., Pour into a greased 13x9-in. or 3-qt. baking dish. Cover and bake at 375° for 1-3/4 to 2 hours or until meat and vegetables are tender. Serve in bowls.

OVEN-BAKED BEEF STEW
This is a simple beef stew that is finished in the oven. If you get a lean piece of beef with a bone, cook the bone with the stew, as it adds a lot of flavor.

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
- Pour flour into a shallow bowl and turn beef in flour, shaking meat to remove excess flour. Heat oil in an ovenproof casserole dish over high heat. Brown beef cubes in hot oil in batches on all sides, about 5 minutes per batch. Transfer beef to a plate.
- Add onion, celery, and carrots to the casserole dish, reduce heat to medium, and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Pour in broth. Return beef to the casserole dish and stir in bay leaves. Cover casserole.
- Bake in the preheated oven until beef is tender, 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Remove bay leaves before serving and season with salt and pepper.

- Sprinkle pork with salt and pepper; transfer to a 4-qt. slow cooker. Add carrots, celery and onion. In a small bowl, whisk broth and tomato paste; pour over vegetables. Add plums, garlic, bay leaves, rosemary, thyme and, if desired, olives. Cook, covered, on low 5-6 hours or until meat and vegetables are tender., Discard bay leaves, rosemary and thyme. - Heat oven to 325°F. In 5-quart Dutch oven or 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish, toss beef with flour. Add frozen vegetables.
- In large bowl, mix remaining ingredients. Pour over beef and vegetables; gently stir until mixed.
- Cover; bake 3 hours 30 minutes to 4 hours or until beef is tender. Remove bay leaves before serving.

Steps:
- In a Dutch oven brown meat, half at a time, in hot oil. Drain fat from pan. Return all meat to pan. Stir in beef broth, onions, oregano, marjoram, lemon-pepper seasoning, and garlic powder. Bring to boiling. Remove from heat. Cover tightly and bake in a 325 degree F. oven for 45 minutes. Combine water and flour; stir into stew. Stir in potatoes, carrots, and green beans. Steps:
- Brown meat half at a time in hot oil.
- Stir flour into drippings left in the pan.
- Stir in undrained tomatoes, garlic, bay leaf, sugar, bouillon, thyme, oregano, hot sauce, water and salt.
- Cook and stir until thick and bubbly.
- Combine meat, sweet potatoes, onion, and green pepper in a 3 qt casserole dish.
- Stir in tomato mixture.
- Bake, covered in a 350°F oven for about 1 1/2 hours or until meat and veggies are tender, stirring occasionally.
- Remove bay leaf.
- Stir in peas.
- Bake 5 to 10 minutes more.
OVEN DELICIOUS PORK STEAKS
This recipe came from my aunt who is an awesome cook, just like my mom. It's a great way to prepare a cheaper cut of meat and still have something that's tasty and tender. My aunt's note on this is: "I dice my onion, tomato and bell pepper and use as much as I want. I also divide the sauce mixture evenly between the 4 steaks." Either way, it's delicious!

Steps:
- Mix first 4 ingredients together.
- Season the pork steaks with the salt, pepper and garlic powder. Spread each lightly with the sauce mixture.
- Place in baking dish and top each pork steak with a slice of onion, tomato and green pepper.
- Seal well in aluminum foil, leaving room for expansion of steam. Bake 1 hour at 350°F.
- Transfer to serving platter and serve hot.
