CHRISTMAS TREE CHEESE BALL

Steps:
- Add the cream cheese, Cheddar, cayenne, Worcestershire, scallions, lemon juice and some salt and pepper to the bowl of a food processor. Pulse until the mixture is almost smooth; you still want a few bits of cheese in there. Remove with a rubber spatula to a piece of plastic wrap and wrap up the cheese mixture. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
- Shape the cheese mixture with your hands into a Christmas tree/cone using the plastic wrap to keep it together. Mix the chopped parsley and dill together on a plate or work surface. Coat the shaped cheese in the chopped herbs.
- Transfer the cheese tree to the center of a platter. Decorate with the pomegranate seeds as ornaments. Serve with buttery crackers.

- In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, ranch dressing mix and chicken. Form the mixture into a ball.
- On a cutting board or a piece of wax paper, spread the chopped pecans. Roll the ball in the pecans until it is fully coated. Wrap the ball in plastic and chill for at least one hour.

PAULA'S CHEESE BALL (BY PAULA DEEN)
This wonderful recipe was featured during Paula's recent television appearance on Oprah's show --- I made it recently but added in 2 scant teaspoons fresh minced garlic and Tabasco, I also increased the nuts for the outside of the ball, this may be made up to 24 hours in advance, try this, you will love it! :)

Steps:
- Place the cream cheese and milk in a bowl; beat until well combined.
- Add in shredded cheese, onions, pimento and HALF of each, crumbled bacon and chopped pecans; mix to combine.
- Season with salt and black pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a large piece of plastic wrap, then form into a ball; cover tightly and chill a minimum of 2 hours.
- In a pie plate mix together the remaining chopped pecans and bacon, then mix in the parsley and poppy seeds.
- Unwrap the cheese ball then gently roll into the nut mixture.
- Wrap again in a clean piece of plastic wrap and chill up to 24 hours.
SUPER AMAZING DEVILED HAM CHEESE BALL
Cheeseballs are okay, but this one is super amazing! I wish I could claim credit for this one, but once again it's from Craig's family recipe treasure trove. It stores well. Cooking time is chilling time. Caution: This is very addicting. I am not responsible for any pounds gained from eating this.

GREEN CHILE CHEESE BALL
This mouth-watering appetizer is ideal for any party, from Super Bowl Sunday to book club meetings. Awe your friends with this Southwestern-style cheese ball! Place on a nice serving dish with an assortment of crackers (I believe that Wheat Thins go the best with this dish).

- Preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat, and lightly oil the grate. Cook chiles on the preheated grill until the skin of the peppers has blackened and blistered, about 5 minutes. Be careful not to overcook the peppers, or the skin will not come off easily. Turn the peppers often to cook evenly. Place the blackened peppers into a bowl, and tightly seal with plastic wrap. Allow the peppers to steam as they cool, about 20 minutes. Once cool, remove the skins and seeds. Chop the peppers.
- Combine the chopped peppers with the pepper jack, cream cheese, garlic, salt, and pepper. Form the the mixture into a ball and place on a plate covered with wax paper. Place the cheese ball in the freezer until very cold, about 15 minutes.
- Spread the chopped pecans on a large cutting board or baking sheet. Roll the frozen cheese ball in the pecans. Use your hand to pack any areas that are not covered by pecans, making sure the entire outside of the cheese ball is covered with a nice layer of pecans.
