This pineapple ginger juice is a deliciously sweet, fresh, juice, and is packed with a major boost of nutrients that will rival any multivitamin supplement.

Number Of Ingredients 4

2 lbs about one whole pineapple peeled and cut pineapple (make sure to save add the core as well)
50 g ginger (about a small thumb size)
1 lime
1 cup water

Steps:

  • In a blender, simply blend the pineapple and ginger with the water until all the ingredients are pureed.
  • If you have a smaller blender, you can simply split the split the blended ingredients into two batches. Since the juice is going to be mixed together anyway, it does not matter if you split them evenly.
  • Strain the juice into a clean container with a fine mesh strainer, cheese cloth or better yet, a nut milk bag.
  • Into the strained juice, squeeze the lime juice, making sure to catch the seeds and stir.
  • Serve the juice chilled.

0.5-1 oz Ginger Juice
1/4 cup Active Ginger Bug

Steps:

  • In a large pitcher with a spout, pour the pineapple juice.
  • Mix in the ginger juice a little at a time, and taste until you like it. If you accidentally add too much ginger, you can add more pineapple juice or dilute with some water. Work slowly and carefully!
  • Add the ¼ cup ginger bug, mix well
  • Pour into tightly lidded jars. Leave at least an inch of space in a mason jar, 3-4 inches in a flip-top. Close and let it ferment for 1-3 days.
  • Check daily, and move to fridge once fizzy. Mine is always super fizzy in less than one!

  • With a juicer, juice your ginger and mint leaves. Collect the juice in the pitcher and mix well.
  • Serve the juice warm.

1 cup pineapple (in chunks)
1 bunch spinach
1 bunch parsley
1 inch ginger (length piece fresh, scrubbed clean)
1 lime (or lemon, without the rind)

Steps:

  • Wash all your vegetables and fruits thoroughly.
  • Coarsley chop the parsley and spinach leaves.
  • Chop the cucumber, pineapple, and ginger into thin pieces small enough to go through the juicer easily.
  • Cutaway the peel from the lime or lemon, leaving most of the white pith and lemon flesh. Cut into slices.
  • Reserve about half of the lime or lemon.
  • Turn the juicer on and push everything through, alternating between the pineapple chunks and the firmer cucumbers, pieces, and pealed half-lemon.
  • When everything but the reserved lemon has been juiced, stir the juice and taste for tartness. Add the remaining lemon if you feel it can take it.
