2 cups ice, divided, or as needed
1 fluid ounce pineapple juice
1 fluid ounce orange juice
1 fluid ounce blackberry liqueur
1 fluid ounce banana liqueur
1 fluid ounce light rum
1 fluid ounce dark rum
1 splash grenadine syrup, or more to taste
1 fluid ounce high-proof rum (such as Bacardi®151)
1 slice orange

Steps:

  • Combine 1 cup ice, pineapple juice, orange juice, blackberry liqueur, banana liqueur, light rum, dark rum, and grenadine in a cocktail shaker and shake to combine.
  • Fill a hurricane glass with ice. Pour in mixture. Add high-proof rum for a floater and garnish with orange slice.

  • Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Fill 10 ounce glasses 3/4 full of ice; add drink mixture.
  • Garnish with half a pineapple slice.

4 cups (32 ounces) Watermelon Puree, recipe follows
3 cups (24 ounces) orange juice
1 cup (8 ounce) lime juice
5 cups fresh watermelon, cubed
5 ounces orange-flavored cognac liqueur, such as Grand Marnier
15 fresh basil leaves, shredded

Steps:

  • Mix and stir the rum, Watermelon Puree, orange juice and lime juice. Serve over ice in chilled cocktail glasses.
  • Muddle the watermelon, liqueur and basil in a glass until you reach a thick and slightly chunky puree consistency.
