- Place ranch dressing mix and vegetable oil in a 2-gallon resealable bag; seal and shake until well combined. Add crackers and shake until crackers are fully coated. Set aside for 3 hours to allow crackers to absorb coating, shaking bag every 1/2 hour.

TRADITIONAL AMERICAN RECIPE: I always have Saltine crackers in my pantry and I eat them all the time. Behind maybe regular crisps ( which I love but can't really digest them much ), they are way up on my list of all-purpose snacks. They are crispy, salty, and can be used in a variety of ways depending on if I'm craving salty or sweet.

- 01 - Dissolve the Yeast in a some Water and add the mixture to the Flour. Mix well. 02 - Dissolve the Salt in the remaining Water. 03 - Add to the Flour the Extra Virgin Olive Oil and the Water and Salt. Knead until well blended. 04 - Dust with a little flour and keep kneading until the dough is smooth. 05 - Place the dough in a bowl, cover it with cling film and let it rest and rise for a couple of hours at room temperature untill it doubles in volume. 06 - Preheat the ovet at 200C / 390F.07 - Cut a piece of dough and wit a rolling pin flat it very thin, about 0.1in. 08 - Place the crackers on a baking sheet, lined with parchment paper. 09 - Using a fluted pastry wheel cut the flatted dough into squares, rectangles or any other shape you like. 10 - With a fork or a wooden skewer poke some holes on each cracker.

- Preheat oven to 350°. Line a 15x10x1-in. baking pan with foil; grease foil. Arrange saltines in a single layer on foil., In a large heavy saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar. Bring to a boil; cook and stir 3-4 minutes or until sugar is dissolved. Spread evenly over crackers., Bake 8-10 minutes or until bubbly. Immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips. Allow chips to soften for a few minutes, then spread over top. Sprinkle with pecans. Cool slightly., Refrigerate, uncovered, 1 hour or until set. HOMEMADE SALTINE CRACKERS
This homemade saltine crackers recipe takes under 30 minutes to make and you only need 5 basic ingredients plus salt! They're buttery, crispy, and absolutely the best!

Steps:
- Blend the egg white with the water to make an egg wash. Set aside.
- Mix together the flour and baking powder.
- If you are adding seasonings mix those in with the dry ingredients.
- Cut butter into flour mixture until it forms coarse crumbs.
- Add the milk and knead gently to form a ball.
- Divide in 4 parts and roll out paper thin on a floured surface. The thinner they are the crisper they will be.
- Cut the dough into squares or desired shapes. (a pizza wheel works great for that!)
- Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and prick all over with a fork.
- Brush with the egg wash and sprinkle with salt (or cracked pepper ..or..)
- Bake at 325 until golden brown..about 15- 20 minutes. (check after 10 minutes)
- Let cool before serving. They crisp as they cool.
