SIMPLE SAVORY QUINOA

Ingredients: butter,quinoa,vegetable broth,garlic,fresh parsley,fresh thyme,salt,onion,fresh lemon juice

Steps:

  1. melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat
  2. add the quinoa , garlic and onion , and cook , stirring occasionally until the quinoa is lightly browned
  3. this takes about 5 minutes
  4. stir in broth and bring to a boil
  5. reduce to a simmer , cover and cook for 15 minutes or until quinoa is tender
  6. in a bowl toss the quinoa mixture together with the parsley , thyme , and salt
  7. sprinkle with lemon juice and serve
