GRILLED SAUSAGE WITH POTATOES AND GREEN BEANS

Steps:

• Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat.
• On a large sheet of foil, place the green beans, red potatoes, onion, and sausage. Season with salt and pepper, sprinkle with oil, and top with butter. Tightly seal foil around the ingredients, leaving only a small opening. Pour water into the opening, and seal.
• Place foil packet on the prepared grill. Cook 20 to 30 minutes, turning once, until sausage is browned and vegetables are tender.

AMY'S PO' MAN GREEN BEANS AND SAUSAGE DISH

Steps:

• Place the green beans in a large saucepan with a lid or a slow cooker. Pour water over the beans to cover; stir in salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer until the beans are very tender, 3 to 4 hours; add water throughout the cooking time as needed to keep moist.
• Add the smoked sausage and potatoes; cover and simmer until the potatoes are very tender and the beans and potatoes have absorbed the smoky flavor of the sausage, about 2 more hours.

Steps:

• Cut kielbasa into bite sized pieces.
• In large pot, combine all ingredients.
• Add water to barely cover ingredients.
• Cook over medium heat until potatoes are done.
• Serve with a slotted spoon so the water can drain away, or drain the whole batch.

SMOKED SAUSAGE, GREEN BEANS & POTATO SKILLET

Steps:

• Slice sausage into 1/2-inch slices.
• Cook sausage and onion in oil in skillet until onion is tender, turning sausage once to brown on both sides.
• Add undrained tomatoes.
• Cook over medium-high heat until slightly thickened.
• Stir in green beans and potatoes and heat for 3 minutes.
• Stir in hot pepper sauce (I use Frank's).
• Sprinkle with cheese and heat until cheese is melted.
• Serve over rice with additional hot pepper sauce, if desired.

CROCK POT SMOKED SAUSAGE, GREEN BEANS AND POTATOES RECIPE

Steps:

• 1. Combine all ingredients EXCEPT smoked sausage, and place in crock pot. 2. Add water to barely cover ingredients. (Can also use Chicken Broth in place of water for more flavor!) 3. Cover. Cook over Low for 4-6 hours or until potatoes are done. 4. One hour before ready to serve cut the smoked sausage into bit sized piece and add to top Do Not Stir. 5. Mix before serving, and serve with a slotted spoon so the water can drain away, or drain the whole batch. Note: If you like some snap in your green beans, add 45 min. to 1 hour before done! This is the way Crock Pot Girl likes them!
