S'mores Bars are an easy, decadent 5 ingredient dessert layered with marshmallows, milk chocolate, and graham cracker crust, no campfire required!

30 graham crackers (, 2 packs, crushed to crumbs)
1 cup unsalted butter (melted)
1/4 teaspoon salt
16 ounces mini marshmallows (, 6 cups)
12 ounces milk chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Mix graham cracker crumbs (set aside 1/4 cup of the graham cracker crumbs), butter and salt.
  • Press mixture into 9x13 pan and bake 10 minutes.
  • Top with 4 cups of the mini marshmallows and bake for 10 more minutes.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes to let the marshmallows deflate.
  • Add the whole bag of milk chocolate chips in an even layer.
  • Top with remaining marshmallows and graham cracker crumbs and bake for 10 more minutes.
  • Let cool completely before slicing.

I got this recipe off the back of a Eagle Brand label years ago. You must use the Sweetened Condensed Milk, NOT the evaporated milk. Perfect for tailgating, goes over great with children and adults!

1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 (14 ounce) can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
1 cup milk chocolate chips or 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 cup miniature marshmallow

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for glass baking dish).
  • In a 13x9 in baking dish, melt butter in oven.
  • Sprinkle crumbs evenly over butter. Pour eagle brand evenly over crumbs. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts, if desired. Press gently with a fork. Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle with marshmallows. Gently press down with fork. Bake 2 minutes more.
  • Cool, cut into bars-store covered at room temperature.

Just because there isn't a fire doesn't mean you can't enjoy s'mores. Try these fantastic bars that include everything in a classic s'more: graham crackers, mallow creme and chocolate. Think of these as s'mores just packaged differently!

1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, softened, plus more for greasing
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate morsels
One 7.5-ounce container marshmallow creme
Nonstick spray, for greasing

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8-by-8-inch baking pan and line with aluminum foil.
  • Cream together the butter and sugars in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy. Beat in the vanilla and eggs until fully incorporated.
  • Mix together the flour, graham cracker crumbs, baking powder and salt in a separate mixing bowl. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until combined. Divide the dough in half.
  • Press half of the dough into the bottom of the prepared pan. Sprinkle the chocolate evenly over the dough. Top the chocolate with the marshmallow creme. Spread the marshmallow creme in an even layer, using a rubber spatula that has been sprayed with nonstick spray.
  • Roll out the remaining dough to an 8-by-8-inch square on wax or parchment paper, using a rolling pin. Working carefully, place the dough on top of the marshmallow layer
  • Bake until the crust is golden brown, 30 minutes. Completely cool before cutting into bars.

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8-by-8-inch baking dish with butter.
  • In a large bowl combine the butter and brown sugar. Using a hand mixer, blend until fluffy, about 2 minutes. Add the vanilla extract and eggs and mix on medium speed until combined, about 1 minute.
  • In a separate bowl combine the flour, graham cracker crumbs, baking powder and salt. With the mixer running, slowly add the dry mixture into the wet mixture, and mix until a dough forms.
  • Transfer the dough to the prepared baking dish and pat out in an even layer to cover the bottom of the pan. Top the dough with the chocolate chips and marshmallows.
  • Bake until the marshmallows are browned and the dough is cooked through, 20 to 25 minutes. Cool to room temperature, then slice into 2-by-2-inch squares.

1 cup Karo® Light Corn Syrup

½ teaspoon Spice Islands® Pure Vanilla Extract
6 (1.55 ounce) bars milk chocolate candy
1 (10 ounce) package mini marshmallows
⅓ cup mini chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Combine crackers with cereal in a large mixing bowl; set aside.
  • Cook corn syrup and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat 4 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until mixture comes to a boil just around edges. Remove from heat; stir in butter, baking soda and vanilla. (OR in a 1-quart microwave-safe bowl, microwave on HIGH (100%) for about 2 minutes or until syrup boils.)
  • Pour syrup over cereal mixture and stir to coat completely. Transfer to a greased 13 x 9-inch pan; press firmly to level. Place chocolate bars in a single layer over cereal mixture; sprinkle with marshmallows.

3 (2.6 ounce) king-sized Hershey milk chocolate bars
1 (7 ounce) container marshmallow creme

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in egg and vanilla.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together flour, graham cracker crumbs, baking powder and salt.
  • Add to butter mixture and mix at a low speed until combined.
  • Divide dough in half and press half of dough into an even layer on the bottom of the prepared pan. We found it works best to use our fingers.
  • Place chocolate bars over dough (3 king-sized Hershey bars should fit perfectly side by side, but break the chocolate if necessary to get it to fit in a single layer no more than 1/4 inch thick).
  • Spread marshmallow creme over chocolate layer.
  • Place remaining dough in a single layer on top of the marshmallow (most easily achieved by flattening the dough into small, flat shingles and laying them together).
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until a light golden brown.
  • Cool completely before cutting into bars.

6 (1.5 ounce) bars milk chocolate candy bars
2 cups miniature marshmallows

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter and graham cracker crumbs. Press half of the graham cracker mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan. In the microwave or in a metal bowl over a pan of simmering water, melt chocolate chips, stirring frequently until smooth. Remove from heat and spread over the graham cracker layer. 20 whole honey graham crackers, divided
6 (1 1/2 ounce) bars milk chocolate, cut into small chunks
1 (16 ounce) package mini marshmallows
6 tablespoons butter or 6 tablespoons margarine
3 tablespoons milk

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Arrange a single layer of graham crackers to completely cover the bottom of a 9 by 13 inch pan; break crackers to fit.
  • Coarsely break remaining graham crackers into a large bowl; set aside.
  • Combine 3 cups mini marshmallows, 3 tbsp of butter, and milk into a microwave safe bowl.
  • Microwave on high for 1 minute.
  • Stir until smooth and add half of chopped chocolate.
  • Stir until chocolate is completely melted.

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • Place the graham crackers inside a plastic bag and use a rolling pin to finely crush the crackers. Pour most of the crackers into a bowl, reserving ¼ cup (20 g) for later.
  • Add the melted butter to a bowl with the graham crackers and mix until the texture of wet sand.
  • Transfer the graham crackers onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet, spreading into an even layer.
  • Sprinkle 2 cups (100 G) of mini marshmallows over the top of the graham cracker crumbs, then bake for 10 minutes.
