- In a small bowl, dissolve gelatin powder in boiling water. Stir in cold water. Transfer half of the gelatin mixture to a small bowl; cover and refrigerate for 1 hour or until slightly thickened. Reserve remaining gelatin mixture; let stand at room temperature., In a small bowl, combine mashed strawberries and sugar; set aside. Drain pineapple, reserving 1/4 cup juice; cut pineapple chunks in half and set aside. Toss banana slices with reserved pineapple juice; set aside., In a 3-qt. trifle bowl, layer half of each of the following: cake cubes, mashed strawberries, pineapple, banana mixture and sliced strawberries. Pour refrigerated gelatin over top. Set aside remaining cake and fruit. Place trifle and reserved gelatin in refrigerator for 20 minutes or until gelatin is slightly thickened., In a small bowl, whisk milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes or until soft-set. Spread half over trifle. Repeat layers with remaining cake, fruit, reserved gelatin and pudding. Top with whipped topping. Cover and refrigerate. Just before serving, sprinkle with almonds.

- Slice cake and spread pieces with jelly or jam. Sandwich pieces of cake together and arrange pieces in bottom of glass trifle bowl or other glass serving bowl. Prepare the gelatin according to package directions and pour over cake. Refrigerate until set, 2 hours.
- Pour prepared pudding or custard over the set gelatin. In a medium bowl, whip cream until stiff peaks form. Spread over pudding. Sprinkle with chocolate and chill in refrigerator until serving.

- Stir 1 1/2 cups boiling water into 1 pkg (8 serving size) strawberry jello gelatin in large bowl until completely dissolved.
- Stir in 1 1/2 cups cold water.
- Pour into 13x9-inch pan.
- Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.
- Cut gelatin into cubes.
- Layer gelatin cubes, pound cake, 1/2 tub Cool Whip whipped topping and 2 cups sliced strawberries in a large glass bowl.
- Top with remaining Cool Whip.
- Refrigerate 1 hour or until ready to serve.
- Makes 15 servings.

- Fold 1/2 cup whipped topping into prepared pudding.
- Sprinkle strawberries with sugar.

- Repeat layers, ending with chocolate.
- Top with additional whipped topping; garnish with additional whole berries.
