1 (6 1/2 ounce) can tuna, drained
2 teaspoons minced onions
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon horseradish
1/2 cup minced parsley

Steps:

mix everhting together except parsely, shape into a log and then roll in parsely. chill before serving.

There's nothing fancy about the tuna ball, but it tastes great at parties and other get-togethers. Chopped pecans give this blend of tuna, cream cheese, and onion a light crunch. I love this appetizer with veggies, crackers ,and veggies.

Ingredients

2 (3 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 (5 ounce) can tuna, drained and flaked
¾ cup chopped pecans
¼ cup chopped onion

Steps:

In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese, tuna, 1/2 of the pecans, and onion. Shape into a ball or loaf. Coat with remaining pecans. Refrigerate until serving.

1 can (12.5 ounce size) tuna in water, drained
1 package (8 ounce size) cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons onion, grated
1 teaspoon horseradish
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
3 tablespoons parsley, minced

Steps:

In a medium sized bowl, combine tuna, cream cheese, lemon, onion, horseradish and salt. Cover and chill for several hours or until firm enough to shape. Meanwhile, mix the pecans and parsley in a small bowl and set aside. Spoon the cream cheese mixture onto a sheet of wax paper and shape into a 16- by 1 1/2-inch log. Sprinkle the pecan mixture over the log, rolling it until completely coated. Wrap the tuna log tightly in plastic wrap; chill. Will keep refrigerated for up to 48 hours. Serve with crackers, pita bread wedges or bread rounds.
