Her shrieks of joy resounded through the bank lobby, and she promised to bring her winning dish in for the tellers to taste.* One contestant without a phone luckily "had her ears on" and learned the good news via a citizens-band message broadcast by her town's postmistress.* A severe blizzard enveloped one contestant's town during notification and the contestant's phone was out.
