Bisquick® Waffles image

Can you picture butter melting on waffles right out of the waffle iron and rich syrup filling those tiny little squares? Yum!

2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
1 1/3 cups milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Steps:

  • Heat waffle iron; grease with vegetable oil or shortening.
  • Stir ingredients until blended. Pour onto center of hot waffle iron. Close lid of waffle iron.
  • Bake about 5 minutes or until steaming stops. Carefully remove waffle.

No Eggs in the fridge, no milk either. Joy of returning home after being gone ! BUT I had some Bisquick, and some dry Buttermilk ! And it worked ! Perfect when topped with plain yogurt and a cup of Snack Peaches !

2 cups Bisquick
2 cups water
4 tablespoons cultured dry buttermilk

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients well .
  • When Waffle iron is warm, spray with butter spray, and place 1/2 cup mixture in waffle iron.
  • Cook until done, according to your waffle iron, mine says when the steam stops.
