CROCK POT HAM WITH COKE
This super easy Coca Cola Crock Pot Ham recipe is made in the slow cooker with a precooked ham, and includes a sweet coke and pineapple glaze.

Steps:
- Stir together the sugar, cola, mustard, and pineapple juice in a small, microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 2 minutes. (*see notes about doubling ham glaze for later use)
- Place ham in the pot of the slow cooker. Pour the the glaze over the ham. If your ham is spiral sliced, be sure the glaze gets between the slices.
- Cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until ham reaches an internal temperature of 145º.
- Remove ham from the slow cooker and tent with foil. Drizzle ham with leftover cola mixture. Let rest 10-15 minutes before serving.

Steps:
- Remove ham from packaging.
- Lightly score ham in diagonal lines first one way, then crosswise, to form a diamond pattern, being careful not to cut any deeper than about a eighth of an inch. (You can score both sides if you like).
- Make a paste of brown sugar and mustard (I used Boar's Head Honey Mustard).
- Rub paste into ham on sides that have been lightly scored.
- Transfer to crock pot.
- Pour in two cans of coca cola into bottom of pot, not pouring directly over ham to wash away brown sugar paste.
- Cook on low 7-8 hours.

- Thoroughly combine brown sugar, mustard and horseradish.
- Moisten with enough cola to make a smooth paste.
- Reserve remaining cola.
- Run entire ham with mixture.
- Place in crock pot and add remaining cola.
- Cover and cook on HIGH for one hour.
- Turn to LOW setting for 6-7 hours.

- Mix the mustard, horseradish and brown sugar together.
- Mix in a small amount of cola to form a paste and rub all over the ham.
- Put the ham in the crockpot and pour the remaining cola over the ham.

- In a medium saucepan, combine cola, brown sugar, mustard, cinnamon, cloves and garlic. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring often. Reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes (to allow glaze to reduce), whisking frequently. Remove garlic cloves.
- Pour glaze over the ham. Cover and cook on LOW for 3-4 hours, or until a thermometer registers 140 degrees F when inserted into the thickest part of the ham. Transfer ham to serving platter.
- Pour liquid from the slow cooker into a medium saucepan. In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch with 4 teaspoons of cold water. Add the cornstarch slurry to the saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat, and cook (stirring regularly) for 6-8 minutes (or until thickened). Pour glaze over ham and serve!

- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 4-6 hours, basting with the cooking juices every few hours.
- Remove ham from slow cooker and let cool a bit until it can be handled. Slice the ham and serve.
