Crackerjacks Caramel Popcorn Better Then You Remember Recipe

Verified Recipe

Time: 90 minutes



  1. popped corn
  2. brown sugar
  3. butter
  4. light corn syrup
  5. vanilla
  6. baking soda


  1. put popcorn in shallow roasting pan
  2. in heavy saucepan mix sugar , butter and corn syrup
  3. stir over medium heat until boiling
  4. continue boiling 5 minute without stirring
  5. remove from heat
  6. add vanilla and baking soda
  7. pour over popcorn
  8. stir to coat well
  9. bake in preheated 250 degree oven for 1 hour stirring several times
  10. cool , break apart and store in tightly covered container
