My super easy crock pot chicken & gravy is the perfect dinner of creamy, tender shredded chicken in tasty chicken gravy! Juicy chicken is cooked down with luscious cream of chicken and flavorful chicken gravy to make a rich, comforting 3-ingredient meal the whole family can enjoy!

3 lbs chicken ((boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs))
22 oz cream of chicken condensed soup ((family size))
2 packets chicken gravy mix
1 cup water ((or chicken stock or milk))

Steps:

  • Remove chicken from packaging, rinse and pat dry then place into your crockpot.
  • Add the cream of chicken soup, water, and the gravy packets. Give everything a good stir until well combined.
  • Return cover and cook on the high setting for 4 hours.
  • After 4 hours, use an instant-read temperature probe and check that the chicken is at least 165°F (74°C), then remove the chicken pieces. Use 2 forks to shred the chicken into pieces, or chop the chicken if desired.
  • Serve over rice or mashed potatoes. Spoon gravy on top. Enjoy!

1 -1 1/2 lb boneless skinless chicken breast
2 (1 3/8 ounce) packages chicken gravy mix
1 (8 ounce) envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix
1 (11 1/2 ounce) can Campbell's Cream of Chicken Soup
2 cups water
salt and pepper, as needed

Steps:

  • Mix together chicken gravy mix, Cream of Chicken Soup, onion soup, and water.
  • Add Chicken Breasts to crock-pot.
  • Pour Gravy/Soup liquid over chicken breasts.
  • Cover and cook on low for 5 hours.
  • Shred chicken with a fork.
  • Serve over rice, potatoes, or even noodles.

Very simple crockpot recipe for skinless tenderloins or breasts. My son stammer about for the entire day about how we should have cooked it in the oven, but once it hit the table, not another word! He had seconds in fact and couldn't wait for lunch the next day! It's easy, something a little different and did I say it's easy? It is!

7 -8 skinless boneless chicken tenderloins or 7 -8 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 tablespoon better than boullion chicken base
2 cups water
3 tablespoons flour

Steps:

  • PLEASE DO NOT ADD SALT! THE BETTER THAN BOULLION CHICKEN BASE HAS ENOUGH SALT IN IT.
  • 2. WASH YOUR CHICKEN VERY GOOD AND THEN ADD TO YOUR CROCKPOT (I HAVE A LARGE OVAL SHAPED CROCK SO I USUALLY COOK TWO PACKAGES OF TENDERLOINS AT ONCE).
  • LET THE CHICKEN COOK UNTIL IT IS TENDER, I ACTUALLY BREAK MY CHICKEN UP IN THE CROCKPOT AS WE SPOON THIS OVER RICE, POTATOES OR BREAD.
  • TAKE A JAR WITH A LID ADD 3 T. FLOUR AND APPROXIMATELY 1 CUP OF HOT WATER, SHAKE VIGOROUSLY UNTIL FLOUR IS COMPLETELY MIXED. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A JAR WITH A LID YOU CAN MIX BY HAND IN A CUP, BUT MAKE SURE YOUR MIXTURE IS NOT LUMPY.
  • Add about half of your flour and water mixture to the liquid in your crockpot and stir. If it is not thick enough, keep adding small bits of flour and water mixture until you have desired thickness. IF IT IS TOO THICK, THIN IT DOWN BY ADDING SMALL INCREMENTS OF PLAIN WATER AND STIRRING UNTIL YOU REACH DESIRED THICKNESS. If it is too THIN, your flour mixture was over diluted you will need to make your flour water mixture again with a little more flour and little less water. Add it in small increments until you have reached desired thickness.
  • Leftovers can very easily be turned into homemade pot pies! Yum! Enjoy!
