4 cup soybean oil
1 cup olive oil
1 1/2 cup hot pepper juice (like from pepperoncini)
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon garlic

Steps:

  • Combine all ingredients in a shaker and shake well.

3 shallots, chopped
3 finely grated carrots
2 grated celery stalks
1/2 lb mushrooms, finely chopped
6 tbsps butter
1 tbsp tomato paste
3 cans consomme
madeira
chervil
thyme
Wondra flour

Steps:

  • Melt butter, simmer shallots until translucent. Add carrots and celery. Simmer for an hour until completely tender. Add tomato paste, chervil, thyme, mushrooms; simmer until mushrooms are soft and cooked through. Sprinkle with Wondra until thick paste is formed. Cook for 5 minutes. Add consomme and madeira to taste, stirring until well -blended and thickened.

1 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup instant minced onion
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes or 1/4 teaspoon red pepper sauce
1 teaspoon basil

Steps:

  • Blend together on stir speed of blender for 2 minutes.
  • Store in tightly sealed container and refrigerate.
  • Shake well before using.
  • (Will keep for several weeks in refrigerator.).
