Korean BBQ Style Lentils (Instant Pot) image

A vegan take on sweet Korean barbeque flavors, ready in 30 minutes in the instant pot

1 Cup Green Lentils
3 Cups Water
1/3 Cup Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
3 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1 Tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
3 Cloves Garlic
2 Tsp Dry Ginger Powder
1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
1 Pinch Crushed Red Pepper Flakes ((to taste))
1 Each Medium Red Onion
1/4 Cup Flax Seed ((optional))
1 Package Rice Noodles

Steps:

  • Place all incredients except rice noodles in the Instant Pot
  • Stir ingredients together
  • Pressure cook oh high pressue for 30 minutes, let steam escape naturally
  • Prepare rice noodles according to package directions
  • Serve lentils over rice noodles
