NUTTY COCONUT BREAD (ABM)
Not a sweet bread. Adapted from Electric Bread. This is a very tender yet chewy bread with a pleasant nutty crunch. I prefer to use all walnuts instead of walnuts and pecans. You can bake this on the regular or rapid cycle. You can also mix this on the dough cycle. Shape and let rise about 40 minutes, and bake in the oven, 400° F. for about 30 minutes. Any way you bake it, you'll like it! Time will vary according to your machine. This makes a 1 1/2 pound loaf.

NUTTY COCONUT BREAD
Steps:
- Beat eggs, sugar, coconut flavoring, buttermilk, coconut, oil & nuts. In a separate bowl, sift flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder & add to other ingredients. Mix till all is moistened. Pour into greased & floured bread pans (half way).
- Bake at 325 degrees F for 1 1/4 hrs or till toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean. Leave bread in pans.
- Sauce:
- Combine sugar, water & butter. Boil 5 minutes stirring constantly until all ingredients are well blended. Remove from heat and stir in coconut flavoring. Pour over bread and let stand for 4 hours before removing bread from pans, (be sure to stir heated mixture every time you pour over bread).

COCONUT BREAD
I've received many requests for this recipe. It's easy to make and just a little different from other quick breads I've tried.

Steps:
- In a large bowl, combine the sugar, oil, eggs and extract. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; add to sugar mixture alternately with buttermilk, stirring just until moistened. Fold in coconut and walnuts. , Pour into two greased 8x4-in. loaf pans. Bake at 325° for 60-65 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in pans before removing from pans to wire racks to cool completely.

SWEET COCONUT CURRY BREAD (ABM)
This is a little sweeter than the other Coconut Bread I posted. It will be less sweet if you omit the raisins. Adapted from Electric Bread. Time will vary according to your machine

OZ'S BANANA-NUT AND RAISIN BREAD FOR ABM
A real banana bread for those that don't want the sticky wet quick banana bread. You'll get a better flavor from this banana bread. Spread this with cream cheese and you'll never want to do quick bread again! And, no need to mash the bananas...the machine will mash them as it mixes the bread.

NUTTY LOW-CARB BREAD (A B M)
This is a delicious and healthy bread based on a recipe that came in the Recipe Booklet accompanying my Christmas present: the Cuisinart Convection Bread Maker! I cannot guarantee that this will work in a non-convection bread machine. This is for the large 2 pounder; the medium 1.5 pounder ingredients are in parens. Make sure that all ingredients are at room temperature, unless noted otherwise.

HEARTY NUT BREAD (ABM)
I found this to be a light wheat bread, not sweet and not "yeasty". Very basic wheat bread. I have made it with walnuts and with pecans. . .both are good. See what you think! Recipe from the cookbook that came with my bread machine and I am supposed to put my ingredients in wet to dry. . . check your bread machine to make sure this is the order you are also supposed to follow (many do dry to wet). Recipe makes a 1 lb loaf
