IMITATION CRAB AND PASTA SALAD

Steps:
- Cook pasta as directed on package. Rinse until cool under cold tap water. Leave to drain well in a colander.
- Chop crab meat in a medium bowl. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, chop all desired veggies. Add pasta and all seasonings. Fold in mayo (and sour cream, if using). Adjust mayo and seasonings to personal taste. Gently fold in the crab meat.
- Refrigerate. Stir again before serving, adding more mayo if needed.
IMITATION CRAB PASTA SALAD

- Cook pasta according to package directions for al dente. Since the pasta will be used in a cold salad, I drain the pasta in a colander and rinse it under cold water until the pasta is cold. This will remove all the starch.
- In a large mixing bowl add the crab, pasta, sweet peas, diced onion, and diced cheese.
- Make the salad dressing. Combine the mayonnaise, sugar, lemon juice, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the salad dressing over the crab mixture and gently stir the ingredients together. Serve it immediately or refrigerate and serve the next day.

- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add shells and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite, about 9 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water.
- Combine drained pasta, imitation crab, olives, bell pepper, green onions, and celery in a very large bowl.
- Whisk yogurt, mayonnaise, mustard, seasoning blend, soy sauce, and celery salt together in a small bowl. Pour dressing over pasta mixture and stir until well combined.

- In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta until al dente. Strain pasta, rinse under cold water until pasta is cool; drain excess water.
- In a large bowl, combine imitation crab, red bell pepper, red onion, and celery.
- In another bowl, mix together the Miracle Whip, mayo, milk, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, and Old Bay seasoning; mix until well combined and smooth.
- Add dressing mixture and pasta to the crab mixture; stir to combine. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
- Cover and refrigerate for about 4 hours; pasta will absorb some of the dressing.
- Unwrap cover and mix well before serving.
