SAM'S POTATO VODKA COCKTAIL

2 ounces potato vodka (like Chopin)
1 ounce ginger beer (similar to ginger ale but stronger and non-alcoholic)
8 -10 fresh mint leaves
1/2 lime, cut into small pieces

Steps:

  • Put the mint and lime pieces into the bottom of a short glass and muddle (squish down with a muddler until the mint and limes are kind of mashed up).
  • Fill glass with ice and pour in the vodka and ginger beer.
  • Stir and enjoy.

1 dash dry vermouth
garlic-stuffed olives, to garnish
fresh rosemary, stem with a couple leaves

Steps:

  • Skewer the olive on the rosemary stem. Combine vodka and vermouth with 6 ice cubes in a shaker. Shake very well. Strain and serve in a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with the skewered olive.
