1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets onion soup mix
1/4 cup olive oil or 1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon lime juice (optional)
1/2 teaspoon lawrys garlic powder, with parsley
1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into thin strips
2 cups frozen assorted fresh vegetables, partially thawed and drained
hot cooked rice

Steps:

  • In a 12-inch skillet, blend onion soup mix, oil, water, lime juice and garlic powder; let stand 5 minutes.
  • Bring to a boil over high heat; stir in chicken and vegetables.
  • Cook uncovered, stirring frequently, 5 minutes or until chicken is done.
  • Serve over hot rice.
  • Garnish, if desired, with lime slices and or fresh parsley.

1 cup yellow onion, cut into strips
1 ½ cups zucchini, diagonal-sliced
1 ½ cups yellow squash, diagonal-sliced
1 ½ cups red bell pepper, cut into strips
1 (6 ounce) package fully cooked seasoned steak strips, defrosted
1 (7 ounce) package Borden® Shred Medleys™ Southwestern Style Shredded Cheese, seasoned according to package directions
4 (10 inch) fajita size flour tortillas, warmed
1 (8 ounce) jar chunky salsa
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream

Steps:

  • HEAT oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  • ADD zucchini, squash and bell pepper. Stir-fry over medium-low heat until tender-crisp. Add steak strips and stir-fry until fully heated. Remove from heat.
  • TOP with seasoned cheese; cover and let stand until cheese melts.
  • SERVE with flour tortillas, salsa and sour cream.

1 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
1 small onion, chopped
1 package (6 ounces) four-cheese corkscrew pasta mix
2 cups salsa
1 cup hot water
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Dash cayenne pepper
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (2-1/4 ounces) sliced ripe olives, drained
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Sour cream, optional

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the pasta, contents of seasoning packet, salsa, water, chili powder, salt and cayenne., Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until pasta is tender, about 15 minutes, adding more water if necessary. Stir in tomatoes; sprinkle with olives and cheese. Cover and simmer until heated through, 3-4 minutes. Serve with sour cream if desired.
