2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 large cloves cloves garlic, chopped
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
10 chicken drumsticks
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
½ cup finely chopped onion
¾ cup ketchup
2 tablespoons white wine vinegar
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Steps:

  • Mash brown sugar, garlic, salt, and pepper together in a mortar and pestle to form a paste. Spoon paste into a resealable plastic bag. Add the chicken, coat with the paste, squeeze out excess air, and seal the bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for 8 hours to overnight.
  • Heat oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook and stir onion in hot oil until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir ketchup, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce into onions; bring to a simmer and cook until flavors blend, about 10 minutes.
  • Preheat grill for medium heat and lightly oil the grate. Remove chicken from bag and discard marinade.
  • Cook chicken on the preheated grill until lightly browned on all sides, about 1 minute per side.
  • Turn off one of the grill burners or move the coals and move chicken so there is no heat source directly below it.
  • Baste drumsticks with the sauce and cook another 10 minutes; turn again and baste chicken with sauce. Continue to grill drumsticks until juices run clear, 10 to 15 minutes more. An instant-read thermometer inserted near the bone should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).

1/2 cup diced celery
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup salsa
1/2 cup ketchup

3 tablespoons black pepper
5 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon onion powder

1 4-pound chicken, cut into pieces
Nonstick cooking spray
1 cup (8 ounces) favorite barbecue sauce
1 can (22 ounces) BUSH'S® Bourbon and Brown Sugar Grillin' Beans

Steps:

  • An American classic with a little twist from below the South, this crisp and smoky chicken is sure to become a barbecue favorite.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, water, milk, 2 tablespoons of garlic salt and 2 tablespoons of pepper until smooth.
  • In a large flat pan stir together the flour, remaining tablespoons of garlic salt, pepper, onion powder and mesquite seasoning.
  • Fill a large heavy skillet or wok halfway full with oil and heat over medium-high heat to 365 degrees Fahrenheit on the barbecue grill or side burner. Use tongs to dip each chicken piece into the egg mixture, then into the flour mixture, back into the egg mixture and back into the flour mixture again. Set on a platter until all pieces are coated.
  • Cook the chicken in batches, do not overcrowd the skillet. Brown on each side.
  • Coat a large baking dish generously with nonstick cooking spray then arrange the fried chicken pieces in the pan. Pour the barbecue sauce over the chicken.
  • Bake in the oven at 365 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-15 minutes in the barbecue sauce, until the sauce has bubbled and caramelized and a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the chicken breast has reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Serve with one can (22 ounces) BUSH'S® Bourbon and Brown Sugar Grillin' Beans.

1 cup canola oil
1 large egg, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons hot pepper sauce

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, combine the first eight ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes, stirring often. Cool., Pour 1-2/3 cups marinade into a large resealable plastic bag; add the chicken. Seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate overnight, turning occasionally. Cover and refrigerate remaining marinade for basting., Prepare grill for indirect heat, using a drip pan. Drain and discard marinade from chicken. Place skin side down over pan. 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 egg
1/2 cup water
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 pinch sugar
8 pickles, slices (use the chips version)
4 hamburger buns

Steps:

  • Combine all of the dry ingredients in a paper bag, except for the sugar, and mix thoroughly.
  • Combine the egg, water and sugar in a medium-sized bowl.
  • Place each breast in the paper bag and coat with dry mixture. Dip each breast in the egg mixture and then place back in the bag to coat with the dry mixture once more.
  • Place the egg batter in an airtight container and place in the refrigerator.
  • Place the breasts on a plate or tray and refrigerate for about 1 hour.
  • When the breasts come out of the refrigerator, coat once more in egg mixture then the dry mixture.
  • Heat 2 to 3 inches of oil in a large skillet to 375 degrees F.
  • Fry the chicken until light brown and crispy (about 15 minutes). Let the chicken drain on paper towels to remove excess grease.
  • Place the breast on the bottom bun and top with two pickles chips. Enjoy!

1 small onion, roughly chopped
5 cloves garlic
1 ½ cups barbeque sauce (such as KC Masterpiece® Original)
½ cup apple cider vinegar
salt and ground black pepper to taste
8 large sesame seed sandwich buns
8 slices mozzarella cheese

Steps:

  • Place chicken into the bottom of a slow cooker and cover with water. Cook on High until it is no longer pink in the center and falls apart when pulled, about 4 hours.
  • Puree onion and garlic in the bowl of a food processor until finely minced.
  • Remove chicken from the slow cooker and shred meat with 2 forks. Discard cooking water.
  • Return chicken to the slow cooker. Add pureed onion-garlic mixture, barbeque sauce, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix well and cook on High until heated through, about 10 minutes.
  • Serve on buns with mozzarella cheese.

  • Heat a grill over medium-high heat and clean and lightly oil the hot grates.

4 cups thinly sliced red or green cabbage, or a combination
2 scallions, chopped
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1 tablespoon apple-cider vinegar
4 seeded hamburger buns, split

Steps:

  • Heat a grill to medium-high. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Lightly brush grates with oil. Grill chicken, flipping halfway, until cooked through, about 4 minutes a side. Brush both sides with barbecue sauce and continue cooking, flipping once, until caramelized and lightly charred in places, about 2 minutes more. 1 16-oz. jar of your favorite BBQ sauce
1/4-1/2 cup cornstarch
6 hamburger buns
2 cups coleslaw

Steps:

  • Season your chicken breasts with seasoning salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Lay the chicken breasts on the bottom of the slow cooker; top with chopped onion. Pour the BBQ sauce on top of the chicken and onion. Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for 4-5 hours or low for 7-8 hours. One hour before the chicken is done cooking, add the cornstarch to the slow cooker. (If you want a thicker sauce, add 1/2 cup of cornstarch.) Stir the cornstarch into the BBQ sauce; return the lid and cook for another hour. Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and place in a large bowl. Shred the chicken with two forks.
