1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup margarine, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups Kellogg's® frosted corn flakes, crushed to 1 1/2 cups
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (6-oz), melted

Steps:

  • 1. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.2. In large mixing bowl, beat margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat well. Add flour mixture, mixing until well combined. Stir in KELLOGG'S FROSTED FLAKES cereal. Drizzle melted chocolate over dough. With knife, swirl melted chocolate gently through dough to achieve marbled appearance. Drop by rounded measuring-tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.3. Bake at 350°F for about 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove immediately from baking sheets. Cool on wire racks.

¾ cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
3 cups crushed sugar-frosted corn flake cereal
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; mix until fluffy. Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into butter mixture. Stir in the crushed cereal. Melt chocolate chips in a bowl over simmering water or in the microwave. Swirl melted chocolate gently into dough, leaving big streaks of chocolate.
  • Drop cookies by heaping teaspoonfuls onto unprepared cookie sheets. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes. After baking remove from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks.

This recipe is a lot like making Rice Krispie Treats. It is nice to have a little change once in awhile! I found this recipe at the Kelloggs website, but since it is not posted here, I thought that it would be nice to have it here as well! (I made sure that I included the registered trademark symbol. :) To change it a little, you can omit the peanut butter, and they will be like rice krispy bar, except not!

1 (10 ounce) package regular marshmallows (40 pieces) or 4 cups mini marshmallows (I use Kraft Jet-Puffed)
1/4 cup butter
1/3 cup peanut butter (I use Skippy)
7 1/2 cups kelloggs frosted flakes (you can use generic brands if you want)

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan, melt the marshmallows and butter on low or medium heat, stirring frequently.
  • Stir in the peanut butter until the mixture is smooth.
  • Add the frosted flakes cereal, stirring until well coated (You must do this fast!) Using a spatula (buttered if you want), or waxed paper, press the mixture into a 13x9x2 inch pan (a standard cake pan works fine) coated with cooking spray.
  • Cut into bars when cool.
  • Enjoy!

2 cups spelt flour
3/4 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup grain sweetened chocolate chips
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1 pinch ground cardamom
2/3 cup agave nectar
2/3 cup grapeseed oil
2 tablespoons water or 2 tablespoons almond milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Preheat Oven to 350 degrees. Place dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl and stir to combine. Combine wet ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk together. Add wet mixture to dry and stir well with wood spoon. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  • Place by the tablespoon on a baking sheet lined with Parchment paper. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown. Remove and cool on a wire rack.
  • Enjoy with a glass of cold Almond Milk.

1/2 cup granulated sugar

3 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
6 cups Kellogg's® frosted corn flakes
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (12-oz)

Steps:

  • 1. Stir together flour, baking powder, soda and salt set aside.2. In mixer bowl, beat together margarine and sugars until smooth. Mix in eggs, honey and vanilla. Add dry ingredients, mixing until thoroughly combined. Stir in cereal and chocolate chips.3. Drop by slightly rounded 1/4-cup measure onto ungreased baking sheets. Slightly flatten with palm of hand.4. Bake at 375°F oven about 13 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool on wire rack before storing in airtight container.
