Steps:
- Mix raspberry Jello with boiling water for 1-2 minutes or until the jello is completely dissolved. Add the frozen raspberries and stir to combine. Pour into a 9X13 dish. Refrigerate until completely set (1-2 hours).
- In a small bowl, stir the unflavored gelatin into the cold water. Set aside.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, mix the cream and sugar together for about 3-4 minutes until the mixture is hot. Add the unflavored gelatin/water mixture and continue to stir the mixture for about 2 more minutes.
- Remove from heat and add the sour cream and vanilla extract. Whisk the mixture until completely smooth. Pour this layer very gently on top of the set raspberry layer. Refrigerate until firm (1-2 hours).
- Add the blue jello to the boiling water and mix for about 1-2 minutes or until the jello is completely dissolved. Add the blueberry pie filling to the jello and mix until well combined. Pour on top of the creamy layer and refrigerate until completely set, about 1-2 hours.
- Slice the layered jello into squares and serve. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator.
FOURTH OF JULY LAYERED GELATIN
A hit with kids and those young at heart. My childhood neighbor made it our block party and now, even though I have moved far away, I still make it with fond memories...it just isn't Fourth of July without it! I have seen similar recipes where the white layer is made with sour cream or whipped topping, but this one uses sweetened condensed milk...easy and delicious!

Steps:
- For each flavor, dissolve one box of Jello in 2 cups of boiling water. Pour into two separate 9x13" pans and chill for at least 3 hours, or overnight.
- After chilling the flavors, cut them into small squares. Mix both colors of Jello squares in one 9x13" pan. In a separate bowl, sprinkle 2 envelopes of unflavored gelatin into 1/2 cup cold water. Let the gelatin expand in the water for a few minutes, then add 1 1/2 cups boiling water and whisk together until the unflavored gelatin dissolves.
- Mix in the can of sweetened condensed milk, stir and let cool at room temperature. Once the milk mixture has cooled, pour over Jello squares in the 9x13" pan. Chill for a few hours until set up. Cut into blocks or shapes and serve. These sweet treats are one of the best patriotic desserts!

- For the blue layer, boil one cup of the juice then stir in the jello packet. After about 2 minutes, remove the mixture from the heat and add one cup of vodka. Pour into 1/3 of each cup. Put the cups in the fridge for at least 3 hours.
- Repeat these steps for each layer, but make sure to let the jello mix completely cool before pouring it, or the hot liquid will melt the layer below it (resulting in a sort of horrible brown mixture - trust me, it wasn't pretty). Each layer should be completely chilled in the fridge before you add the next.

- For each packet of jello, prepare using 1 cup of boiling water and 1 cup of cold water. You can easily double this recipe - for example if you only wanted to use strawberry jello, you can prepare both boxes of jello at one time in the small bowl, just double the amount of water added.
- Pour the jello powder into a mixing bowl. Add in 1 cup of boiling water, and stir for 1-2 to dissolve the mixture. Add in 1 cup of cold water, and stir to combine. Evenly divide the jello mixture among the glasses or cups. I chose to fill my glasses halfway full. If you’re using strawberry jello, place chopped strawberry pieces in each glass. If you’re using berry blue jello, place blueberries in each glass.
- Before serving, place cool whip in a piping bag fit with a piping tip (I used wilton 2D). Pipe a layer of cool whip on top of the jello. Top each jello cup with either chopped strawberries or blueberries.
