1/2 cup A.1. Original Sauce
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 lb steak
1 tablespoon olive oil
salt and pepper
1 tablespoon butter
2 cups chopped mushrooms
1 medium onions, chopped or 1/2 cup chopped onion
puff pastry, squares
6 slices goat cheese
1 egg
1 tablespoon water

Steps:

  • Mix the A-1 and mustard and marinade the steak in it for 30 minutes. Grill steak or heat skillet and sear the steak to desired doneness. Set aside to rest.
  • Heat the butter and 1 tablespoon olive oil in a 10-inch skillet. Add the mushrooms and onions and cook until the mushrooms are tender and all the liquid is evaporated, stirring often.
  • Put a pastry square on the work surface. Spoon the mushroom mixture a little off center of the pastry square. Slice the steak and place slices on top of the mushroom mixture. Top with a slice of goat cheese.
  • Mix egg and water in a bowl and brush the egg wash on edges of pastry before folding for a better seal. Fold the pastry over the filling and press all edges with a fork to seal. Brush tops with remaining egg wash.
  • Heat oven to 350 and bake until golden brown on both sides, approx 10 minutes. Serve.

¼ cup steak sauce (e.g. A-1)
¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon steak sauce

Steps:

  • Preheat grill for high heat.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, seasoned bread crumbs, egg, 1/4 cup of steak sauce, and mozzarella cheese using your hands. Shape into 4 patties.
  • Lightly oil the grill grate. Cook patties for 5 minutes per side, or until well done. Baste with additional steak sauce while cooking if desired.

1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup A.1. Original Sauce
1/2 cup tomato sauce
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 tablespoons maple syrup
2 teaspoons chili powder
4 ounces spaghetti
8 ounces frozen corn
3 tablespoons chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Cook turkey in skillet, drain, set aside.
  • Add oil & onions to skillet, cook 15 minute over med heat.
  • Add turkey, A-1, tomato sauce, vinegar, syrup, & chili powder; simmer over med heat while pasta cooks.
  • Cook pasta al dente; add corn, drain, add to skillet, stir to combine.
  • Sprinkle each serving with 1 tbsp chopped walnuts.

Skirt steak marinated for 24 hours in A1 with lemon, rosemary and garlic; grilled to perfection. The steak is thinly sliced and tossed with bow tie pasta and fresh spinach and finished with a savory A1- Porcini mushroom sauce and dollops of creamy goat cheese.

1/2 lb cooked bow tie pasta
1/4 cup A.1. Original Sauce, divided plus
1/2 teaspoon A.1. Original Sauce, for drizzling
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, divided
1 teaspoon freshly grated garlic
1/4 cup olive oil, divided
1 sprig fresh rosemary
3/4 lb skirt steak
1 tablespoon spiced sea salt (suggest Mediterranean spice blend, available in your spice aisle)
1/2 ounce dried porcini mushrooms
1/4 cup chicken stock
1 1/2 tablespoons chopped shallots
1/2 tablespoon unsalted butter
8 ounces prewashed fresh spinach
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 ounces goat cheese, log
1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley, garnish (optional)

Steps:

  • Combine one tablespoon of the A1 with one tablespoon of the lemon juice and the grated garlic and half of the olive oil. Whisk to combine.
  • Place rosemary sprig in the bottom of a marinating container an top with steak.
  • Pour the marinade over the steak. Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours. Remove from refrigerator about 30 minutes before grilling.
  • Cook pasta per package directions. Once drained, mix with one tablespoon of the remaining olive oil.
  • Preheat grill pan to smoking hot.
  • Season the steak with the spiced sea salt.
  • Grill skirt steak on both sides for about two minutes each side. Remove from heat and let steak rest.
  • Add porcini to a microwave safe bowl with the chicken stock. Microwave for 30 seconds on high.
  • Add one half of the rest of the olive oil, the shallot and the butter to a sauté pan. Cook until shallots just begin to brown.
  • Add in the remaining A1 from the 1/4 cup along with the porcini and hot stock. Stir an set aside.
  • Add remaining olive oil to large skillet. Add 1/2 of the spinach and the nutmeg.
  • Once the spinach is wilted, add the cooked pasta, the rest of the spinach, and the sauce mixture. Stir to combine.
  • Slice steak against the grain into bite sized pieces.
  • Pour into pasta bowl. Top with steak.
  • Pour any remaining steak juices into plating bowl and combine.
  • Add goat cheese right before serving.
  • Top with fresh parsley.
  • Drizzle with the extra A1 before serving.

3 egg yolks
1 teaspoon mayonnaise
3 teaspoons lemon juice
1 pint virgin olive oil
2 skirt steaks
2 tablespoons A.1. Original Sauce
8 ounces pasta
1 pinch salt
1 teaspoon garlic
6 ounces fresh spinach
1 ounce parmesan cheese

Steps:

  • boil 16 ounces of water for pasta, add a pinch of salt.
  • once water comes to a boil, add uncooked pasta for 7 to 8 minutes, a la dente.
  • season your steaks with a tablespoon on each of A1 sauce.
  • cook steak for five minutes on each side on a low to medium heat.
  • take pasta off once done, drain water off from pasta into a colander.
  • let your steak rest for about 5 minutes to seal in the juices, before slicing thinly into thin strips.
  • plate your pasta, put your thin strips of steak on top.
  • make your Aioli Sauce.
  • blend 3 egg yolks, 1 pint of virgin olive oil, 1/4 teaspoon of minced garlic.
  • Add 2-3 tablespoons of lemon juice at the end of the sauce if too thick, too unthicken (5 minutes).
  • Warm your sauce with the spinach for about 5 minutes.
  • Drizzle the sauce with the spinach over the plated pasta and steak.
  • May grate some fresh parmesan on top of each plate.
