A Little Less Evil Dirt Cake Recipes

DIRT CAKE I

Steps:

• Chop cookies very fine in food processor. The white cream will disappear.
• Mix butter, cream cheese, and sugar in bowl.
• In a large bowl mix milk, pudding and whipped topping together.
• Combine pudding mixture and cream mixture together.
• Layer in flower pot, starting with cookies then cream mixture. Repeat layers.
• Chill until ready to serve.
• Add artificial flower and trowel. Enjoy!

A LITTLE LESS EVIL DIRT CAKE

Steps:

• Grind the Oreos in a food processor or put them in a ziploc bag and use a rolling pin to mash them up into a dirty powder.
• Cream softened butter and neufchatel cheese with confectioner's sugar.
• In a separate bowl, combine the pudding mixes and milk, slowly fold in thawed Cool Whip.
• Combine the creamed cheese and pudding bowls.
• Line the bottom of a clean, unused flowerpot with foil.
• Pour in 1/3 of the pudding mixture.
• Pour in 1/3 of the ground Oreos.
• Repeat and finish with layer of Oreos.
• Refrigerate for 2 hours or overnight. Garnish with a bunch of plastic flowers (clean the plastic stem first).
• Enjoy! It's still not a diet food, but it's a little less fatty/sugary.

EASY DIRT CAKE RECIPE

Steps:

• Put the Oreos in the bowl of a food processor, and pulse to chop finely. Then, set aside.
• Mix the pudding and milk together with a mixer or whisk. Stir in the Cool Whip until combined, then set aside.
• Beat the butter and cream cheese together until smooth. Then, beat in the powdered sugar.
• Stir the butter mixture into the pudding mix until well combined.
• Put just enough Oreo crumbs on the bottom of the cup to cover it.
• Layer 1/2 cup of pudding mix, 1/4 cup of Oreo crumbs, 1/4 cup of pudding in eight cups. Smooth the pudding in each layer with a spoon before adding the crumbs.
• Top each cup with the last of the Oreo crumbs
• Add gummy worms to hang over the edge and curled on top.

DIRT CAKE

Steps:

• Combine the pudding mix and milk in a large bowl and whisk constantly until thickened, about 5 minutes. Refrigerate until firm, about 10 minutes.
• Meanwhile, add the cookies to a food processor and process until fine crumbs form. Remove 4 cups and set aside. Drizzle the butter into the remaining crumbs and pulse until mixture starts to hold together when pinched between your fingers. Pour into a 2 1/2-quart glass bowl and pack with the bottom of a measuring cup to form an even layer. Refrigerate until ready to use.
• Beat the cream cheese and confectioners' sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed until no lumps remain, about 2 minutes. Beat the cream in a medium bowl with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form, about 2 minutes. Fold the whipped cream into the cream-cheese mixture until well combined, then fold this mixture into the pudding until well combined.
• Pour half of the pudding mixture over the cookie crust and smooth with an offset spatula. Sprinkle with half of the reserved cookie crumbs, then top with the remaining pudding mixture and smooth with an offset spatula. Sprinkle with the remaining cookie crumbs, decorate with the gummy worms and refrigerate until well chilled, at least 3 hours and up to overnight. Serve cold.

DIRT CAKE II

Steps:

• Crush the Oreo cookies in a blender or food processor; set aside.
• Cream together butter or margarine and cream cheese.
• In a large bowl, mix 2 large boxes of vanilla instant pudding (add amount of milk according to package of pudding).
• Add cream cheese mixture and 8 ounces of Cool Whip.
• Beat together until mixed.
• In an 8 inch flower pot, layer the cookie mixture, the pudding mixture, the cookie mixture, and so on.
• End up with the cookie mixture (this looks like dirt).
• Add an artificial flower on top.

DIRT CAKE

Steps:

• Crush cookies,( I like to leave them some cookie big enough to bite.) set aside.
• Mix cream cheese and butter till smooth mix in confectioners sugar,.
• fold in cool whip with spatula.
• In separate bowl mix dry pudding mix, & milk with blender until thickened, add in vanilla and fold in cream cheese mixture.
• Use bowl or flower pot layer 1/2 dirt crumbs.
• Pour pudding over then repeat
• Decorate with gummy worms or fake flowers for kids can serve with NEW garden trowel.
• Best if put in the fridge to set for a while before eating.
• (Note: can also use Chocolate pudding. and I ALWAYS double this recipe it will make a lot for a crowd and it will go over well.

DIRT CAKE III

Steps:

• You may substitute vanilla pudding for the chocolate if you want, and use up to 20 oz of Oreos.
• Please use a clean new plastic flower pot or take the precaution of lining a clay pot with foil and wrap the stems of live flowers if you use them in order to prevent any toxins from entering the dessert.
• Crush the cookies until they resemble potting soil.
• Set aside.
• Cream the butter or margarine, cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.
• Set aside.
• Combine the pudding mix and milk until well blended.
• Then fold in the whipped topping.
• Gently fold the cream cheese and pudding mixtures together.
• To put the "cake" together, layer one-third of the cookie crumbs followed by 1/2 of the pudding mixture, 1/3 of the crumbs, the rest of the pudding mixture and topping with the balance of the crumbs.
• Refrigerate 10-12 hours before serving.
• Remove from refrigerator, decorate with flowers.
• Serve by digging out portions with the trowel.

KEN'S DIRT CAKE

Steps:

• Mix sugar,butter and cream cheese together.
• In separate bowl crush oeros and set aside.
• In large bowl, mix pudding mix and cool whip.
• Add first mixture and last mixture together, then layer with oreos, chill and serve.

MINTY FRESH DIRT CAKE

Steps:

• Pulse chocolate sandwich cookies into fine crumbs in a food processor.
• Combine cream cheese, confectioners' sugar, butter, and vanilla extract in a large bowl; beat with an electric mixer on low speed until smooth. Add milk, chocolate pudding mix, and butterscotch pudding mix; beat on low speed until blended. Fold in whipped topping using a rubber spatula.
• Spread 1/3 of the cookie crumbs in the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking pan. Top with 1/2 of the pudding mixture. Repeat layers. Scatter remaining cookie crumbs on top. Chill until set, at least 3 hours.
• Cut cake into 12 pieces; poke a gummy worm into each piece.

DIRT CAKE II

Steps:

• Put the cookies in a food processor and process until they become fine crumbs. Set aside.
• In a large bowl, combine the butter or margarine, cream cheese, confectioners sugar and vanilla flavoring. Beat on low speed to mix then beat on medium speed until smooth. Add the chocolate pudding mix and milk to the bowl. Beat on low speed to combine.
• Fold the whipped topping into the pudding mixture with a rubber spatula.
• Assemble in the ungreased 9x13 inch pan in layers as follows: first layer, 1/3 cookie crumbs; second layer, 1/2 pudding mixture; third layer, 1/3 cookie crumbs; fifth layer, 1/3 cookie crumbs.
• Tuck the ends of gummy worms in the cookie "dirt". Be sure to have a worm on each piece. Store in the refrigerator. Chill for at least 3 hours before serving. Cut into 15 squares, or serve with a clean garden trowel or a toy sand shovel if serving in the flower pot.
