Steak on the grill is fantastic, but it's not always possible to get to the grill, especially in the winter. The air fryer can solve the problem. This air fry ribeye steak recipe is very simple.

Steps:
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
- Brush melted butter onto the steaks on both sides. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Place the steaks into the air fryer. You may have to do it in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook for 15 minutes for medium doneness. Flip the steaks halfway through cooking.
- Remove the steaks from the air fryer, wrap in foil, and let rest for 10 minutes, then serve with your favorite side dishes.

- Season steak generously on both sides with salt and freshly cracked black pepper. Allow to sit while you preheat the air fryer and make the garlic herb butter.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, add the butter, garlic and herbs and use a fork to mash and combine.
- Place the steak in the center of the air fryer basket and cook until desired doneness, depending on the thickness of the steak: about 10 minutes for medium-rare, 12 minutes for medium and 14 minutes for medium-well, flipping halfway through.
- Transfer steak to a cutting board and allow to rest, about 10 minutes.
- Slice the steak against the grain into 1/4-inch thick pieces. Top with the garlic-herb butter.

- Sprinkle 2 tablespoons Chicago steak seasoning or seasoning of your choice on each side of two 6 oz. filet mignon steaks. Pat down the seasoning.
- Add to a covered plate and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to overnight to marinate. When ready to cook, brush each side of both steaks with 1 tablespoon each of olive oil. Place the filets on the rack in the air fryer and cook for approximately 4 minutes at 390°F.
- After 4 minutes, flip the filets and cook for approximately 4 minutes more. Remove the air fried steaks and top each filet with 1 tablespoon garlic butter. Let the steaks rest for 10 minutes before cutting.

- Combine steaks, soy sauce, olive oil, and seasoning in a large resealable bag. Marinate meat for at least 2 hours.
- Remove steaks from bag and discard the marinade. Pat excess oil off the steaks.
- Add about 1 tablespoon water to the bottom of the air fryer pan to prevent it from smoking during the cooking process.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- Add steaks to air fryer and cook for 7 minutes. Turn steaks and cook for another 7 minutes until steak is medium rare. For a medium steak, increase the total cook time to 16 minutes, flipping steak after 8 minutes.
