CHERRY DELIGHT RECIPE
Three easy layers, one sensational dessert make this Cherry Delight recipe! Store-bought ease saves time while loading up on creamy, sweet, tart flavor.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9X13 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, granulated sugar. Press into prepared baking dish. Bake in preheated oven until crust edges are golden, 12 to 14 minutes. Cool completely, on a wire rack, about about 45 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together cream cheese, and sour cream with an electric mixer until evenly combined.
- Add the confectioner's sugar and vanilla and beat for 2 minutes.
- Gently fold in the Cool whip until well combined. Do not overmix!
- Spread cream cheese mixture over completely cooled crust. Refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours, or better, overnight.
- Spread cherry pie filling over top of cream cheese layer just before serving. Cut into squares and serve!

- Mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar, and butter together in a bowl; press into a 9x9-inch pan.
- Whisk cream cheese, whipped topping, and 1 cup confectioners' sugar together in a bowl until smooth; spread over graham cracker crust. Pour cherry pie filling over cream cheese mixture layer. Refrigerate until firm, at least 1 hour.

This is my mom's recipe. It is a family requested recipe that she usually makes for Christmas. She's even added green food coloring to the cool whip to give it the festive look.

Steps:
- Melt butter, pour into a 9 x 13 dish add graham cracker crumbs.
- Press in bottom of 9 x 13 forming a crust.
- Bake 350 degrees for 8 10 minutes.
- Let cool.
- Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar with a mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Pour on top of cooled cracker crust smooth out.
- Pour cans of cherries on top of the cream cheese mixture then top the cherries with cool whip.
CHERRY DELIGHT
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Stir together graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, granulated sugar, and salt in a large bowl until combined. Press mixture evenly into bottom of an 11- x 7-inch baking dish. Bake in preheated oven until crust is toasty and edges are golden, 12 to 14 minutes. Transfer baking dish to a wire rack; let crust cool completely, about 45 minutes.
- Beat heavy whipping cream in a medium bowl with an electric mixer on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form, about 1 minute. Set whipped cream aside. Beat cream cheese and sour cream in a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth, about 1 minute. Add powdered sugar and vanilla; beat until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
- Fold half of whipped cream into cream cheese mixture using a rubber spatula until just combined; repeat with remaining whipped cream. Spoon cream cheese mixture into cooled crust; smooth top using a small offset spatula. Pour cherry pie filling over cream cheese layer, spreading to edges of cream cheese mixture. Cover and chill until filling is firm, about 2 hours. Cut into 10 bars, and serve immediately.

- In a large bowl, beat butter and cream cheese until smooth. Beat in egg. Add cookie mix; mix well (dough will be sticky). Shape dough into a disk; wrap in plastic. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm enough to handle., Place almonds and sugar in a food processor; pulse until almonds are finely chopped. Add eggs; process until mixture forms a paste. Add butter and vanilla; process until blended., Preheat oven to 350°. Shape dough into 1-1/4-in. balls; press onto bottom and up the sides of greased mini muffin cups., Place 1 Tbsp. filling in each cup. Top each with a cherry. This recipe my mom made when I was a kid growing up. It is very rich, but real yummy! I don't know where she obtained this recipe, but it goes back to the 1950's I believe.

- Combine graham cracker crumbs and the melted butter.
- Pack half of that mixture in bottom of 8x8 dish.
- Melt marshmallows in milk in double boiler and let cool.
- Add whipped cream and 1 teaspoon of vanilla to marshmallow mixture.
- Pour half of the marshmallow mixture over the graham cracker crumbs.
- Then pour all of the cherry pie filling over that.
- Add the rest of the marshmallow mixture on top of pie filling.
- Top with the rest of graham cracker crumbs.
- Chill overnight.
