- In a large bowl, combine the cheese, sausage, pepperoni, peppers and onion. Stir in pizza sauce until combined. Place about 1/4 cup filling in the center of each egg roll wrapper. Fold bottom corner over filling; fold sides toward center over filling. Moisten remaining corner with water and roll up tightly to seal., In a Dutch oven or deep cast-iron skillet, heat 1-2 in. of oil to 375°. Fry pizza rolls until golden brown, 1-2 minutes on each side. Drain on paper towels. If desired, serve with additional pizza sauce.

PIZZA MUFFIN RECIPE
These cheesy and delicious Pizza Muffins make for the perfect appetizer. They're filled with melty mozzarella, and topped with a yummy garlic butter, more cheese, and mini pepperonis.

- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Open can of biscuits, and cut each biscuit in half and then flatten and round out.
- Place TWO mozzarella balls in the center and wrap the dough around it to form a ball.
- In a small skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic, red pepper flakes and butter. Add olive oil and salt.
- Roll each dough ball in the butter/oil for a few seconds and then place in a mini muffin pan open side up.
- Combine shredded cheese and add some to each dough ball topped with a few pepperonis.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes and brush with remaining garlic butter from skillet.
- Sprinkle with salt and basil and serve warm with marinara sauce.

AMAZING HOMEMADE PIZZA ROLLS!
My DH loves those frozen Tony's Pizza Rolls....I'll eat them too, but....what exactly is in them?? We probably don't want to even know! These are MUCH better and at least we know what we're eating!! Buy extra sauce for dipping if you'd like, but they really don't need it. Also, add/omit any ingredients you like or don't like. Make them to your own taste of course. This is what we like in them.

HOMEMADE PEPPERONI PIZZA ROLLS
These Pepperoni Pizza Rolls are a perfect, cheesy dinner recipe that you can make any night of the week! This recipe makes 24 pizza rolls -- ideal for a family of 2 (with leftovers) to 4 for dinner. Halve the recipe to make 12 pizza rolls.

- Move oven rack to the middle of the oven. Then preheat to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray your 12-cup muffin tin(s) with nonstick spray.
- Flatten each 1-pound dough ball into a rectangle and divide into 12 equal portions. (If you have two 1-pound dough balls, you'll end up with 24 equal-sized portions of dough). We recommend cutting the dough vertically 6 times and then cutting each strip in half.
- Roll dough into balls and then flatten with your fingers into 4-inch rounds.
- Scoop 1/2 teaspoon of pizza/marinara sauce into the center of each dough round (without spreading sauce). Top sauce with 1 piece of mozzarella and 2 small pepperonis. Fold each corner of the dough up and pinch together to form a closed ball of dough around the ingredients inside.
- Combine salt, melted butter, and garlic powder in a bowl and dip each pizza roll into the bowl, coating it with the marinade. Coat one at a time and place the dough ball seam-side down into the muffin tin.
- Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon of grated parmesan and a pinch of Italian Seasoning on top of each pizza roll.
- Put one muffin tin at a time in the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown and fluffy.
HOMEMADE PIZZA ROLLS

- Preheat 1"-2" of oil in pan to 350 or in deep fryer.
- Cut each of your egg roll wrappers into 4 squares.
- Chop your mozzarella cheese into smaller pieces.
- In bowl mix together pepperoni, pizza sauce and cheese.
- Place heaping teaspoonfuls of filling onto the left side/center of your egg roll wrapper leaving 1/2" above and below filling.
- Using your finger, wet all edges of wrapper with water.
- Gently roll your pizza roll up and press above and below filling to seal edges.
- Wet the top and bottom again and just gently fold each up to create a small seal (reference photos above in post).
- Make sure you seal tightly so they do not bust open in oil.
- Place about 4 into heated oil at a time frying for about 1-2 minutes until puffy and golden.
- Remove from oil and drain on paper towel lined plate.
- Serve with pizza sauce for dipping if desired.

- Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray a pie plate with non-stick spray. Roll out crescent roll dough into a rectangle about 5x9 inches. If using the tube, press the seams together. In a bowl mix together sausage, pepperoni, cheese, and pizza sauce. Spread onto rolled out dough, leaving a 1 inch boarder along the edges. Roll the dough over the meat mixture, like you would a cinnamon roll. Pinch closed. Slice into 8 equal portions. Place the roll ups on their side in the pie plate. Bake for about 15 minutes until the rolls are golden brown. Serve with additional pizza sauce for dipping if desired.

- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Slightly spray a cookie sheet with Pam.
- Brown beef in skillet, crumble and drain.
- In a bowl combine sauce, beef, pepperoni, mozzarella, onions and peppers if desired and mix well.
- Separate dough into rectangles and spread out with fingers to make the dough thin.
- Spoon a spoonful of meat mixture along the long side of dough and roll up starting with the long side. Turn up sides of the long side and roll. Place seam side down on cookie sheet and bake 15 minutes or until golden brown.
