Arroz con camarones y queso preparado con anticipación image

4 rebanadas de tocino (tocineta) OSCAR MAYER Bacon, picadas
1 cebolla, picada
1 pimiento (pimentón) verde, picado
2 dientes de ajo, bien picaditos
1 lata (15 oz) de salsa de tomate (jitomate)
3/4 taza de salsa mexicana
1-1/2 libra de camarones medianos limpios ya cocidos
1 paquete (10 oz) de granos de elote (maíz) congelados (descongélalo antes de usar)
4 tazas de arroz blanco de grano largo ya cocido
1-1/2 taza de queso estilo mexicano desmenuzado de cuatro variedades y con un toque de queso crema KRAFT Mexican Style Shredded Four Cheese with a TOUCH OF PHILADELPHIA

Steps:

  • Cocina y revuelve el tocino en una sartén grande a fuego medio hasta que esté crujiente. Retíralo de la sartén con una cuchara con ranuras y reserva 2 cdas. de la grasa que quede en la sartén; escurre el tocino en toallas de papel.
  • Agrega la cebolla, el pimiento y el ajo a la grasa que reservaste; cocínalos y revuélvelos 5 min. o hasta que estén tiernos pero crujientes. Incorpora la salsa de tomate y la salsa mexicana; mantén un hervor suave 2 min. y revuelve de vez en cuando. Incorpora los camarones y el elote; mantén un hervor suave 2 min. Incorpora el tocino.
  • Pon el arroz en un molde para hornear de 13x9 pulgs. que hayas rociado con aceite en aerosol; ponle la mezcla de camarones y el queso por encima. Tápalo con papel aluminio. Refrigéralo por un máximo de 24 horas.
  • Calienta el horno a 375ºF. Tapa el molde y hornéalo 35 min. o hasta que se termine de calentar, sin olvidarte de destaparlo a los 20 min.
