Homemade Fudgy Brownie Mix image

Homemade brownie mixes are perfect for your pantry. They also make great gifts when they're layered in a jar!

Number Of Ingredients 8

Ingredients

1 cup + 2 Tablespoons flour
⅔ cup packed brown sugar
⅔ cup sugar
¾ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
⅓ cups cocoa
½ cups chocolate chips
½ cups chopped walnuts (optional)

Steps:

Add ingredients to a 1 quart canning jar (or quart-size zip-top plastic bag) in the order listed.
Include the following instructions for using the mix:
Mix contents of jar with: 2 eggs, ¼ c. water, ⅔ c. oil, 1 t. vanilla
Pour into a greased 9″ square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until an inserted knife comes out clean. Cool and enjoy!
