- Preheat oven according to package directions. Grease baking pan according to package directions.
- Prepare brownie batter according to package directions; stir in chopped Butterfinger. Spoon into prepared pan.

- Mix together flour, baking powder, and salt in a quart jar. Layer remaining ingredients in the order listed. Press each layer firmly in place before adding the next layer. NOTE: Be sure to wipe out the inside of the jar with a dry paper towel after adding the cocoa powder, so the other layers will show through the glass.
- Attach a tag with the following instructions: Brownie Mix in a Jar 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13inch baking pan. 2. Empty jar of brownie mix into a large mixing bowl, and stir to blend. Mix in 3/4 cup melted butter and 4 eggs. Mix thoroughly. Spread batter evenly into prepared baking pan. 3. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in preheated oven. Cool completely in pan before cutting into 2 inch squares.

- Layer the dry ingredients in a one litre jar, following the order above, from top, starting with the baking powder and flour. Press each layer down before adding the next. The amounts given should exactly fill a one litre jar.
- Give to your friend :) Remember to include a tag with the following instructions
- For the tag:
- Combine the contents of the jar with 150g melted butter and 3 beaten eggs. Mix well, and pour into a lined 9 x 9 inch tin. Bake at Gas 4 / 180 C (160 fan) / 350 F for 25-35 minutes.

- If you are using vanilla powder, combing powder and baking soda with the flour. If using extract, combine soda with flour and extract with the brown sugar.
- To prepare the gift jar, layer the ingredients as listed, tapping down after adding each layer.
- Attach card with the additional ingredient list and cooking direcions.
- Attach Tag:.
- Butterfinger Cookies.
- 3/4 cup butter, softened.
- 1/4 cup shortening, butter flavor is best.
- 1 large egg.
- 1 Jar Mix.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Beat together the butter and shortening. Add the egg and mix until combined. Pour the baking mix into the bowl and mix by hand.
- Shape into small 1 " balls, pressing them down with a fork in a cross-hatch.
- Bake at 350 F for 10-12 on greased cookies sheets.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, flour, pudding mix and cocoa. In another bowl whisk together milk, oil, butter and eggs. Add to the dry ingredients and stir until moistened.
- Line a 9x13 with aluminum foil. Press half of the dough mixture into the bottom. Bake for 10 minutes.
- While baking chop 2 Butterfinger candy bars. Stir peanut butter, and vanilla into the other half of the uncooked cake mixture. Fold in chopped bars and 1 cup chocolate chips.

- Put butter and chocolate chips in a glass bowl. Microwave for 2 minutes, stir, then microwave an additional 15 to 20 seconds if needed until the mixture is melted and smooth.
