- Heat sauerkraut;drain juice; set aside.
- Microwave the meat;drain juice; set aside.
- Toast rye bead. Spread with Russian dressing.
- Top with warm meat, sauerkraut and cover with swiss cheese.
- Put under broiler until cheese is melted.

These are terrific! Even my sauerkraut hating DH liked these! I like to use my George Foreman Grill for these. Serve with potato salad and crispy dill pickles.

- Spread each slice of bread with thousand island dressing.
- Top 4 of the bread slices with sauerkraut, cheese and corned beef.
- Place remaining bread slices on sandwich.
- Spray butter flavored papm on the outsides of each sandwich.
- Heat a large skillet over medium high heat.
- Grill until browned, then turn and grill until heated through, and cheese is melted.

REUBEN GRILLED CHEESE
A classic American sandwich! Corned beef, melted Swiss, sauerkraut, and Thousand Island dressing. So cheesy and just so darn easy!

- Preheat a waffle iron to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the top and bottom of the waffle iron or coat with nonstick spray. Working in batches, place bread slices into the waffle iron. Top with sauerkraut, corned beef, Swiss, Thousand Island dressing and remaining bread slices. Close gently and cook until golden brown and crisp, about 3-4 minutes. Serve immediately.
GRILLED SPLIT KIELBASA REUBENS WITH WARM MUSTARD-CARAWAY SAUERKRAUT

- Preheat a griddle pan to medium-high.heat.
- Heat a small skillet over medium heat. Toast the seeds a couple of minutes then stir in sauerkraut, beer or cider, and mustard and simmer 10 minutes.
- Cut kielbasa into 4 portions and split the sausage pieces in half across, opening them up. Grill the sausages on the hot griddle until crispy on both sides, about 7 to 8 minutes total. Wipe some of the grease off the griddle and drop heat to low.
- Lightly butter 1 side of each slice of bread. Build butter-side-out sandwiches of grilled kielbasa, sauerkraut, and 2 slices of cheese; spread the top of each sandwich with red pepper relish before setting in place.
- Grill the sandwiches on the griddle until crispy. Cut and serve.
CALIFORNIA GRILLED REUBEN
This West Coast version of a deli sandwich uses smoked turkey rather than pastrami. This makes more coleslaw than you'll need for the sandwiches but it'll keep for 2-3 days in the fridge

- Put the carrot, cabbage and onion in a bowl. Add 1 tsp of white wine vinegar and 2 tsp of mayonnaise, season and mix together.
- Mix the dressing ingredients. Spread the dressing over one side of the bread. Add a couple of tbsp of coleslaw to two slices, then the turkey, then the cheese. Add a few slices of pickle then top with the other slices of bread, dressing-side down. Spread the outside of the sandwiches with soft butter. Heat a large frying pan and fry on both sides until crisp and golden and the cheese has started to melt. Serve with extra pickles.
