CHERRY DELIGHT
This is my mom's recipe. It is a family requested recipe that she usually makes for Christmas. She's even added green food coloring to the cool whip to give it the festive look.

Steps:
- Melt butter, pour into a 9 x 13 dish add graham cracker crumbs.
- Press in bottom of 9 x 13 forming a crust.
- Bake 350 degrees for 8 10 minutes.
- Let cool.
- Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar with a mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Pour on top of cooled cracker crust smooth out.
- Pour cans of cherries on top of the cream cheese mixture then top the cherries with cool whip.

- In a bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, confectioners' sugar and butter. Press onto the bottom of an 8x4-in. loaf pan coated with cooking spray. , In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and confectioners' sugar until smooth; fold in whipped topping. Spread over crust. Spoon pie filling over top. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until chilled.

- Preheat oven to 350°. In a small bowl, combine the flour, pecans and brown sugar. Stir in butter until crumbly. Lightly pat into an ungreased 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish. Bake until golden brown, 18-20 minutes. Cool completely., For filling, in a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, confectioners' sugar and vanilla until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Carefully spread filling over crust. Top with pie filling. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
- Beat egg whites until stiff. Gradually add the sugar and cream of tarter; beat until sugar is dissolved.
- Add crackers, nuts and vanilla. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes in the preheated oven.
- Remove from oven, cool and cut into squares. Top each serving with pie filling and whipped topping.

CHERRY DELIGHTS
This is another Christmas favorite in my house! I used to have so much fun pressing the cherries onto each cookie when I was younger. These cookies are sweet and delicious, both with and without the nuts! Cook time is if you bake about a dozen at a time.

Steps:
- Mix margarine and sugar until fluffy.
- Stir in Karo syrup and egg yolks; mix well.
- Mix in flour.
- Chill.
- Roll into 1 inch balls.
- Dip into slightly beaten egg whites and roll in chopped nuts.
- Place on greased cookie sheets.
- Press candied cherry halves into centers.
- Bake in 325 degree F oven for 20 minutes.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
- Chop 1/2 cup walnuts coarsely and reserve them for topping. Chop the remaining 1/2 cup nuts fine.
- In a medium-size mixing bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, and butter. Blend the mixture well. Add coconut and the finely chopped nuts. Reserve 1/2 cup of this mixture. Press the remaining flour mixture into the prepared pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are light brown.
- In a medium-size mixing bowl, combine sugar and cream cheese. Stir in egg and vanilla. Beat mixture until smooth. Spread this mixture over the hot (just baked) layer.
- Return the pan to the oven and bake 10 minutes. When the cake has finished cooking, spread the cherry pie filling over the hot cake and sprinkle the remaining walnuts and crumb mixture over the top.
- Return the cake to the oven and bake another 15 minutes. Let cool before serving.
