The steps may seem daunting, but making Chick-fil-A's grilled chicken is pretty simple and quite delicious. So can you make it? You bet you can!

Steps:
- Butterfly the chicken breast.
- Combine apple cider vinegar, water, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, orange juice, grape juice, chicken stock, molasses, and salt.
- Add chicken to in marinade and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours.
- Heat grill pan to medium-high.
- Add safflower oil (or light flavorless oil) to grill pan.
- Cook chicken for 3 minutes on grill. To assure sear marks, lightly press the chicken with a small sauce pan. Flip chicken and cook other side for an additional three minutes,
- Add multi-grain (or wheat) buns to a separate pan, split-side down, set on the low, and cook for three minutes.
- To the toasted bottom bun, add green leaf lettuce, two tomatoes to cover the entire bun, and chicken. Follow with optional sauce, and the top bun.
- Eat and enjoy!

CHICK-FIL-A CHICKEN (AND NUGGETS) COPYCAT
After looking on the internet for days for a Chick-Fil-A copycat and finding only plain old fried chicken recipes, I decided to try and imitate it myself. It came out pretty darn close I think! There are two crucial ingredients chick-fil-a uses that most recipes dont have- pickle juice and sugar. They also use MSG- but its also ok without it if you dont like it. Just cut up the breasts into chunks and follow recipe for nuggets. (Edit: I also have to say I love Chick- Fil-A and that I think they're a great company. I encourage anyone to visit if they can, the staff is always so nice and polite at every location I've been to! Its just too bad they don't have more locations!)

- Pound chicken breasts till they are thin enough for your taste. (I find a lot of breasts are really too thick for a sandwich so I pound out the thick part a little) Cut into chunks if you want nuggets.
- Place chicken in plastic bag with pickle juice and marinate for an hour (preferably overnight).
- Mix up eggs in seperate bowl for the egg wash.
- Mix flour and remaining spices in another shallow bowl.
- Remove chicken from the pickle juice maranade and drain well. Dip into the egg wash and then into the flour mixture.
- Fry the chicken however you prefer here. I pan fried mine in a few tablespoons of oil and it turned out fine. Chick-Fil-A deep fries theirs in a pressure cooker, so you can try that if you are feeling adventurous.

- Cut the chicken into a large dice like a "nugget" size. Place the chicken pieces into a dish or a large resealable bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours or up to overnight.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade (discarding the marinade) and place on paper towels. Lightly pat the chicken to remove the excess marinade.
- Heat the grill to 400 degrees. Grill the chicken nuggets on both sides until the chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear. This should take about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Remove the chicken from the grill and serve with vegetables, salad or oven fries!

- First, start by cutting up your boneless skinless chicken breasts. You want to make sure they are bite-sized. Also, this is a good time to remove any fat from the chicken and discard it.
- Next, take your chicken and place it into a large baggie or bowl along with the pickle juice and milk. Allow to marinate for a minimum of 30 minutes although overnight is ideal.
- Next, remove your chicken from the mixture and lay onto paper towels. Pat dry. Drain the excess milk and pickle juice.
- Next, heat your saucepan to medium-high and drizzle in some olive oil or sunflower oil.
- Now, add your powdered sugar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and seasoned salt into a bowl with the chicken. Combine.
- Now, throw your chicken into the heated pan and cook about 8-10 minutes while constantly tossing to cook evenly. Depending on your stove, you may need more time to cook to ensure it's cooked throughly.
- Once cooked, remove from heat and serve up with some homemade honey mustard sauce. You can of course, use up all those extra sauce packets you have lying around!

- In a large bowl, combine chicken, 1/2 cup milk and pickle juice. Cover and place in the refrigerator for at least 20-60 minutes or overnight, the longer the better. Remove from fridge and and an egg to the mixture.
- Heat peanut oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Now for this step you can either use a ziplock bag or simply dip the chicken into the flour mixture (in a bowl) and then place in oil. In a gallon sized ziplock bag, mix the flour, powdered sugar, and spices until well combined. Add the chicken pieces (without liquid) and shake well until fully coated.
- Working in batches, add chicken to the skillet and cook until evenly golden and crispy, about 3-5 minutes. Transfer to a cooling rack or plate lined with paper towels.
- Serve immediately with honey mustard.

- Start by placing your chicken in a large zip close bag and adding in the pickle juice and milk. Smoosh around to get all the chicken coated and let sit for 20 to 30 minutes.Meanwhile heat at least an inch deep of oil to 350 degrees F.
