2 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless, cut into 2" bite size pieces)
1 zucchini (cut into 1" slices)
1 red onion (cut into 1" slices)
1/2 pint grape tomatoes
1 tbsp garlic (minced)
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1 lemon (juiced)
1 tsp oregano
1/4 c olive oil
salt and pepper (to taste)

Steps:

  • Put diced chicken into a bowl. In another bowl whisk together the garlic, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, oregano and olive oil.
  • Pour over chicken, toss to coat. Marinate on the counter for at least 15 minutes, can leave in fridge overnight for stronger flavor.
  • When ready to cook put cut vegetables in a bowl and toss with 1 tbsp olive oil. Then sprinkle with some salt and pepper.
  • Measure skewers to ensure they are the right length to fit inside your air fryer basket first. Cut/break to fit.
  • Use wood skewers and alternate 1 pc. of chicken, then a tomato, zucchini, then onion piece until everything is used up.
  • Put prepared kebabs in air fryer basket at 380 degrees for 15-18 minutes flipping halfway through until chicken is done all the way through.

Juicy and crunchy Air Fryer Fried Chicken Drumsticks are a healthier alternative to fried chicken drumsticks. You have that same crunchy battered coating that makes you weak in the knees. Straight from the Air Fryer and bursting with amazing flavor in every single bite.

6-8 Chicken legs
½ tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tbsp. cajun seasoning
1 tsp salt
¾ tsp. black pepper
2 cups of Panko crumbs
4 eggs beaten

Steps:

  • Stir together panko, cayenne pepper, cajun seasoning, salt and pepper,
  • In a separate small bowl, beat your eggs until fully mixed.
  • Add chicken (two pieces at a time), to egg mixture and coat evenly on both sides.
  • Now place the chicken into panko crumbs crumbs
  • Set each one aside once coated in panko crumbs.
  • Air fry chicken on power level high or 380 for 25 minutes.
  • For thicker / larger chicken legs it may need 4-5 minutes longer. (make sure the internal temperature is 165 degrees)
  • Let chicken rest with top on or door closed for 1-2 minutes.
  • Enjoy!

  • Grab a large plate and combine your flour, seasoning, salt, and pepper. Combine. Then grab your cooking spray and give the inside of your Ninja Foodi a good coating.
  • Next, wash your chicken then spray each chicken drumstick with cooking spray as well. This will help the flour mixture stick to the skin of the bird.
  • After you cover each drumstick, place it onto the bottom of your Air Fryer piece in the Ninja Foodi. Fit in as many as you can. I think in my first batch I was able to fit 5 or 6. This recipe required me to cook two batches.
  • Set the Ninja Foodi to Air Fryer, 400, and 25 minutes. At the 12 minute mark, open up the top and flip your chicken pieces and respray with cooking spray. This will give you that little extra crunch that we are all looking for! Close the lid and continue to cook.
