1-1/2 cups sugar
4 large eggs, room temperature
1 cup canola oil
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
FROSTING:
1/2 cup butter, softened
6 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4-1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
24 candy pumpkins

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a 15x10x1-in. pan., Beat together first four ingredients. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and spices; gradually beat into pumpkin mixture., Transfer to prepared pan. Bake until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean, 20-25 minutes. Cool completely in pan on a wire rack., For frosting, beat butter, cream cheese and vanilla until smooth. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar. Spread over cake. If desired, top with candy pumpkins. Refrigerate leftovers.

1 (16 ounce) package golden poundcake mix
2 eggs, divided
2 tablespoons butter, melted
3/4 cup chopped nuts, divided
3 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice, divided
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
2 egg whites
1 (16 ounce) can pumpkin
1/2 teaspoon salt

Steps:

Preheat oven to 350°F Grease a 15 x 10-inch jellyroll pan;set aside.
In large bowl, combine cake mix, 1 egg, butter, 1/2 cup nuts and 1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice. Using pastry blender, mix until crumbly. Press onto bottom of prepared pan; set aside.
In large mixer bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk,then.
remaining egg and egg whites, pumpkin, remaining 1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice and salt; mix well. Pour over crust; sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup nuts on top. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until set. Cool.
