- Chop apple into 1-inch slices.
- Grease slow cooker and add pork roast. Layer on cranberries, apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Pour apple juice on top.
- Turn crockpot on LOW for 7-8 hours or HIGH for 4-5 hours, until roast is tender and begins to fall apart when you put a fork in it.

EASY SLOW COOKER APPLE PORK ROAST
My husband doesn't like BBQ sauce, but we had a pork roast. I whipped this up in the slow cooker, and it was awesome served with broccoli and rice, and also as pulled pork sandwiches for the 2 kids and hubby for a few days without them getting tired of it! It got better and better until it was gone, so I figured it was worth sharing. You let me know what you think!

- Place the apples and onion into the bottom of a slow cooker, and sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon.

Steps:
- Season pork roast with salt and pepper.
- Brown on all sides in a skillet.
- Meanwhile, put a layer of apples on the bottom of the crock pot.
- When the meat is browned, throw it on top of the apples.
- Throw in the rest of the apples, the onion, and the cranberries around and on top of the pork.
- Mix the apple cider, the chicken broth, the brown sugar and the sage.
- Pour over the pork and fruits.
- Cover and cook on high for 6-7 hours until the pork falls apart when you poke it with a fork.
- Shred the pork and mix well with the sauce.
- Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Serve over hot buttered noodles.

I got this from SouthernFood.about.com. It is really good and so easy to make. It can be made either in the crock pot or in the oven. I don't like Cranberry sauce much but this was really good. I've actually had it with out the apples also and it turned out fine.
