SLOW COOKER SALISBURY STEAK
This recipe goes together quickly and does not need a lot of time in the slow cooker. It's a delicious way to add flavor to ground beef and the children love it! The gravy is delightful served over mashed potatoes.

Steps:
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, onion soup mix, bread crumbs, and milk using your hands. Shape into 8 patties.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Dredge the patties in flour just to coat, and quickly brown on both sides in the hot skillet. Place browned patties into the slow cooker stacking alternately like a pyramid. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, au jus mix, and water. Pour over the meat. Cook on the Low setting for 4 or 5 hours, until ground beef is well done.

SLOW COOKER SALISBURY STEAK
Easy Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak is one of our favorite comfort foods. Tender beef patties simmered in rich brown gravy with mushrooms and onions.

Steps:
- Place mushrooms & onions in the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Combine beef patty ingredients and form 6 patties. Brown over medium high heat (about 3 minutes per side).
- Layer beef patties over mushrooms. Combine remaining ingredients except water and cornstarch. Pour over beef and cook on low 5 hours.
- Once cooked, remove patties and set aside.
- Turn slow cooker onto high. Combine cold water and cornstarch. Stir into the broth and let cook a few minutes until thickened. Add beef back into the sauce to coat.
- Serve over mashed potatoes or rice.

Steps:
- Mix First 5 ingredients together and shape into patties about ¾ inches thick.
- Cook patties in a skillet turning once until brown.
- Remove from Skillet and place in crockpot or casserole dish.
- Add onion mushroom and beef broth; heat to boiling.
- Mix water and cornstarch together to make a paste.
- Add to boiling mixture with a wire whisk and whisk until gravy begins to thicken.
- Add a packet of Mushroom or Brown Gravy Mix and water packet calls for to gravy in skillet. Trust me, you will need the extra gravy (or you can add a jar of premade).
- I then poured the gravy over the meat patties and cooked on low for atleast 3 hours.
- You could also bake in oven at 350 for about 30 minutes.
- Serve with Mashed potatoes.
- Makes 4 servings...depending how hungry you are you?

- In a large bowl mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, dried onion, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix well with hands and form 6 patties. Heat vegetable oil over medium high heat in a large skillet. Brown patties for 2 minutes on each side. Place sliced white onion and mushrooms in bottom of Crock Pot. Add beef patties. Combine beef broth, gravy mix, ketchup and mustard. Pour over patties. Cook on low for 5 hours. Remove patties and set aside. Combine water and cornstarch. Add to Crock Pot and turn temp to high. Cook for a few minutes until thickened. Add beef patties back to mixture. Coat with sauce and serve.
