Day After Thanksgiving Casserole Recipes

THANKSGIVING LEFTOVER CASSEROLE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
• Melt 3 tablespoons butter in a saucepan over low heat. Blend in the flour. Slowly stir in evaporated milk and water, then season with salt, pepper, and onion powder. Stir sauce over low heat for 5 minutes.
• In a separate saucepan over low heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Blend in the dry stuffing mix. Place the turkey in the prepared baking dish. Pour the sauce over turkey, then sprinkle with Cheddar cheese. Spread mashed potatoes over cheese. Top mashed potatoes with the stuffing mixture.
• Bake 45 minutes in the preheated oven.

THANKSGIVING LEFTOVERS CASSEROLE

Steps:

• Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
• Prepare stuffing as directed on package; spread onto bottom of 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray.
• Combine turkey, mixed vegetables and mayo; spoon over stuffing.
• Mix potatoes and cheese; spread over turkey mixture. Sprinkle with paprika.
• Bake 30 to 40 min. or until heated through.

DAY-AFTER-THANKSGIVING CASSEROLE

Steps:

• Combine sour cream, gravy, seasonings and pimientos in a Dutch oven and heat thoroughly without boiling.
• Fold in noodles, turkey and mushrooms and pour mixture into a greased 2 quart casserole.
• Bake, covered, at 350º until hot and bubbly, about 35-45 minutes.

DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING TURKEY CASSEROLE

Steps:

• 1. Saute vegetables in butter and olive oil until tender but not brown.
• 2. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and thyme.
• 3. Stir in cooked, cubed turkey.
• 4. Place in a casserole dish.
• 5. Top with mashed potatoes. Dot with butter and sprinkle with paprika. If you have leftover sweet potatoes they are great mixed with the mashed potatoes and spread over the top.
• 6. Bake, uncovered, at 350F for 20-30 minutes until the potatoes are browned and casserole is heated through.
