- In a large shallow dish, combine the flour, salt and pepper. Add chicken, a few pieces at a time, and turn to coat. , In a large skillet, heat oil. Brown chicken in oil on all sides; remove to paper towels. Drain drippings and return chicken to the pan., In a bowl, combine the lemon juice, ketchup, molasses, oil, Worcestershire sauce, cloves, salt and pepper. Pour over chicken. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 35-40 minutes or until chicken juices run clear. Serve with rice.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9-inch square baking dish.
- Bring rice and 1 1/4 cup chicken broth to a boil in a saucepan. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until the rice is tender and the liquid has been absorbed, 20 to 25 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook and stir mushrooms and onion in hot oil until mushrooms are soft and onion is translucent, 5 to 7 minutes. Stir chicken, chicken soup, sour cream, milk, 1/2 cup chicken broth, seasoned salt, and black pepper into the mushroom mixture. Reduce heat to low. Add cooked rice to the saucepan; stir until rice is evenly mixed in. Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish.
- Bake in preheated oven 15 minutes. Top casserole with Cheddar cheese and crushed croutons; bake until top begins to brown, about another 10 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes before serving.

- Cook bacon in large nonstick skillet until crisp. Drain bacon, reserving drippings in skillet. Crumble bacon; set aside.
- Add chicken to skillet. Season well with pepper; cover. Cook 4 min. on each side or until cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet.
- Add broth, water and greens to skillet; stir. Bring to boil.
- Stir in rice. Top with chicken; cover. Cook on medium-low heat 5 min. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 to 7 min. or until liquid is absorbed. Stir. Sprinkle with reserved crumbled bacon.

An old fashioned tasting, soothing casserole. I found this recipe in a 1989 Pillsbury Cookbook and tweaked it to my tastes. Use the seasoning that you like.

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- In 9x13 ovenproof pan add first eight ingredients.
- Mix well.
- Lay chicken pieces on top and push into the rice mix to partially cover.
- Brush tops of chicken with melted butter and sprinkle with seasonings.
- Cover pan with aluminum foil and place in oven.
- Bake covered for 30 minutes, remove foil and continue baking for 30 more minutes.
- The liquid should be absorbed, but not dry, and the chicken should be fully cooked.
